Doubt it. But I love mine. Perfect size for me and the battery life is amazing. Had it for about 4 months so far, we'll see how long it lasts

What's the one you have?

No.

S9+

>no notch

>green bubble device

gonna have to pass on that.

LOL NO

Yes

Jesus fucking Christ LG why

at least it's not the abomination known as the Pixel 3 with that fuck hueg bezel

Don't post that. itoddlers will come braging about their higher score on their slowphones.

>can't scroll with one hand without twisting your fingers like a bird's claw because your palm fucks your shit up all the time since it touches the edgy screen on the side. You literally can't hold your phone like a phone to use it.

10/10 genius engineering very comfortable

inb4 works on my feminine hands

They don't call it an "Essential" For nothing!

Attached: Essential-PH-1-Price-in-Pakistan-600x600.jpg (600x600, 49K)

>still on Oreo
>best phone

there is a one handed mode but yeah this is bullshit and needs to stop
PHONES should not exceed 68mm in width otherwise they are small tablets not phones anymore
yeah its Essential-ly useless without a 3.5mm jack

Yes. At least for a person looking for a phone with 3.5 jack, microSD and no notch

>tfw note 9
>tfw that shit is easy
i will admit it takes a little bit to readjust, and that stupid "double tap to hide navbar" button will get pressed if youre trying to reach for the bottom right corner, but its not terrible.

that's not what he's saying, the screen curves at the sides so it always detects touch inputs from your palm unless you claw your hands

If money isn't an issue then this
youtube.com/watch?v=oqv7bm5nbC4&t=0s

Plus all of it's accessories

Based and redpilled

How is that not "You're holding it wrong"?

SSounds like marketing but I've had mine about 2 months and I'm happy with it, one thing I do really dislike is the bixby button, it should be easier to disable it. I watch a lot of VR porn using the phone and the amount of times that button gets accidentally pushed and ruins my immersion is far too many. otherwise though its great

My hands are fucking huge, so this phone is the comfiest I've ever used.

Oh god that looks small and fragile.

>using SMS
The absolute state of amerimutts.

Attached: 1300044776986.jpg (600x600, 34K)

>Curved screen
>Touch wize
>Massive forehead
>Massive Chin
That is your definition of best?

Lol
Poorfag quality bait.
Enjoy screen burn in and bootloops.

>not posting the obviously superior handheld device

OP, fixed your image for you

I can't wait to get one of these fucking phones.

i'm very tempted to get one but i've read in reviews that the typing is kinda a pain in the ass after some time and that apps are laggy. is this true?

>Physical keyboard when you can just swipe

>display bigger than 4.7"
im gonna pass on that

that was a good phone

>and the battery life is amazing.
I wouldn't say so.
gsmarena.com/battery-test.php3?idPhone=8967#show
Not with the curved edge gimmick, glass back and the pricing now at least.
Nice meme responses.
I believe you can get these only through US carriers at this point.
See above.

>still on Oreo
>best phone
To be fair it does have custom ROM support, unlike the S8 and the Note 8.
You're also passing on many devices more intuitive for typing and watching media on.

>samshit
not even the best android phone

good double

ouch. One off ;_;

Oh damn, that's pretty evil. One off quints. reeeeeeeeeeeeee

>call it essential
>riddle it with the most hated non-essential features and remove actual essential features
what a joke

>not even waterproof
into the trash it goes, retard!

Yes, wish i got the non plus though. I have big hands but the s9+ still feels too big, I've fallen for the bigger mAh meme as this shit lasts for like 3 days.

Just because you amerifats can't get it, doesn't mean it isn't the best.

Except for the part where it's not

Attached: blackberry-passport-3_2040.0.jpg (1000x667, 150K)

If you open Bixby you can change it to require a double tap to open. It's not disabled but it won't activate by accident as much.

They're cheap as fuck lightly used or refurb. I like the curved glass and glass back is a non issue since a case is always on

ASS

This phone looks ugly as fuck in person

Is the note 9 with the 512 gig storage a fucking stupid decision?

512 seems overkill, how much do you use now?
(I have a bunch of crap and games on my s7, with 32g, and I am running out of space, pretty sure the 128 would be fine though)

If you're going for the 9+, the Note 9 is obviously the better choice.

S7 too. Just bothered to offload a ton of shit I'd been carting around for years because full. Was thinking the massive one so I don't bother taking a tablet with me on trips and can load it with media so I'm not bored on dreary international trips etc. (aircraft entertainment doesn't cut it anymore). I suppose something filled with shit and an otg cable would do then, eh? (thought the note 9's SD slot could be used for a local sim wherever I go.)

yeah, more storage and bigger screen, like... why not?

it's too big

Attached: 1537963173410.jpg (1080x1080, 53K)

I have the smaller S9. It's not perfect for sure but I feel that it has the least compromises.

>note 9 better
>when you can buy lg stylo 4 for $271
>does the same thing as note samsung

Attached: 343.jpg (596x628, 42K)

That's not the iPhone XR.

the one with a bright screen and fast camera
iPhone XS
using your phone for more than basic browsing on the shitter and social media is retarded, use a PC for anything else dumbasses

>using your phone for more than basic browsing and social media is retarded so buy this $1000 phone

Lol no. Not at all. iPhone XS Max & Huawei Mate 20 Pro are the winners.

I wish I could get a nice compact Sony flagship but their phones and software is garbage. Why are they so incompetent? The samsung phones and some chink phones are the last good ones around.

Attached: 1539123161731.jpg (350x524, 68K)

>best camera
>best screen
best means best, not "most cost effective"

>quints.
Quads you stupid ape

yep
the s9 is the best size, has a microsd, headphone jack, great screen, A E S T H E T I C design etc
pie will be nice when it comes to exynos, it's already out for NA users

>curved screen

Why do people likes it ?

it's aesthetic and has no downsides other than screen glare which rarely happens (because when it does you just move your phone out of the light like you would with any other phone)
>but what about accidental touches
it has sensors that stop that from happening and you can configure the sensitivity of the curves

but you didn't know that because you're a spastic little shitskin memer

To be fair, I'd rather buy the XR than the XS, but both are way too overpriced.

>but muh pixelz, 326ppi, not even 1080p
>pic related

I guess OnePlus it is then.

Attached: 39396420_1803022353086705_8266198816428916736_n.jpg (235x214, 9K)

XR is good as well but it looks like crap

What would be Jow Forums perfect phone design and specs?

Are you literally me

I have the S9 and hated it.

wait, whats with that poorfag dpi ? even s6 had much more that this.

i have a lg v40 and i dont know what any of you people are talking about. Audio is the best, camera is kinda a meme but takes good pics, havent maxed out my battery after excessive use, processor is great, screen is great (so far) and the notch isnt ideal but i still dont mind it. the only real grip i have is accidentally hitting the screen with my palm when im holding it

Easy. S9 running Pixel OS and camera software.

Gonna try to make an educated guess
>several phone sizes from 5 to 7 inches
>kevlar back, front all screen
>1080p amoled
>waterproof
>no front camera
>rear cameras one primary and one telephoto, both with OIS
>FP scanner below them
>latest Snapdragon with 6+ gigs of RAM
>64 gigs of storage
>micro SD slot and two SIM slots
>USB-C and a headphone jack with a good DAC
>speakers on top and bottom
>5 Ah removable battery with fast charging
>runs completely stock android, but has an unlocked bootloader
>voLTE, please sir
There's probably more, but I think I covered the basic design.

Best camera and best screen are both debatable and neither of those are really even important in day-to-day usage. You contradicted yourself period

I doubt it

Attached: 1537717449794.png (624x951, 891K)

yes

Honestly at this point if you can hold out for the S10 do it. It's going to be an all new design

>No front camera
Why not?
>Waterproof and removable battery
Yeah dream on

Atleast make something reasonable.

>Just because you amerifats can't get it

You sure about that?

do you ses a keyboard in it ? :^)

Call me when they make one without those shitty capacitive buttons on the bottom of the screen and just use a bigger fucking screen.

Attached: ffs.jpg (512x507, 83K)

>cellular/wifi/bt modem, gps, camera, 3d scanner, mic kill switches
>several models from 4.5" to 6.5" screen sizes, no more than 1/4" thick
>6 point touch 120hz user replacable amoled display with 99.9% color accuracy and all the HDRs.
>almost no bezels, no notch, sharp corners on screen. Front camera may hide in whatever top bezel is there or hide underneath the display.
>ultrasound 3d scanner & fingerprint reader behind screen
>8gB of ram, snapdragon 845 or better cpu
>metal enclosure, waterproof enough to fish out of the toilet and wash off
>sd card, removable battery, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM
>factory unlocked bootloader
>trigger buttons on corners of large models
>3x16 mp rear cameras, 1 telephoto, 1 for low light. Records at 4k with all the HDRs.
>runs non systemd, non-gnome, non-wayland distro that can run android apps in isolation, or just the latest android because you can install a new os by loading the image onto a USB flash drive, holding down the volume buttons at boot, then highlighting the right menu option.
>ships with phone, camera, contacts, text/video call/group chat, web browser, repository browser, minimal essential system software, and that's it.
>relies on some federated protocol for communication that Jow Forums doesn't hate but somehow also has normie users that you can host a server for and the communications app somehow works with telegram, whatsapp, snapchat, mumble, IRC, and skype via drop down "send as" menu.
>you can plug it into just about any of the various lapdocks that have come out so far and it'll act like a regular old laptop. Somehow.
>rugged version available with more bezels and more fatness, but you can't break it by dropping it and can use it for underwater photography, has packet radio transceiver and laser rangefinder built in.
>somehow does not cost more than a thousand dollars.
>has enough users for lots of accessories to be available, but almost none of them are women.

oh no! you caught me! better return my iPhone XS because you proved me wrong D:
>t. implied my OWN opinion, not a universal fact

Camera could be less grainy and samsung jizz experience lags the UI a bit but I fucking love regular s9. Perfect hand held size, no notch and a headphone jack.

Fingerprint reader on back dropped immediately

>LG

>so it always detects touch inputs from your palm unless you claw your hands
No it doesn't I tried a demo model at a samsung booth and could hold it just fine without setting off the touchscreen on the side the edge detection software is pretty gud
doesn't mean its not dumb as fuck though to curve phones in the first place

>lg stylo 4 for $271
>does the same thing as note samsung
I didn't know the note 9 bootlooped

Attached: 1527576224955.jpg (640x480, 55K)

For the next 6 months when samsung launch its new flagship and end its support.

>Yeah dream on
its been done before

No.
Blackberry passport is (still). Android and IOS are retard devices.
