Protocol wise even whatsapp is better than telegram, which as also uses the Signal protocol (axolotl)

I use Telegram because the desktop client is much better than whatsapp and its available on Linux and you can have larger group chats and basically everything is better (you can also have wojak, apu and pepe stickers).
