You can buy 'nuc' like devices in your budget. Look for stuff made my Gigabyte and other vendors. I've got a small nuc like device from Gigabyte that has 16GB of ram, an i3 and two drives in it, it's about an inch tall, and the length/width of a VESA mount. Bought it without the drives and ram for less than 150 Euros.

Not sure on newer GPUs.
I did it on a first gen Titan, and got a huge gain on it. Part of that was because of the temp controller and fan curve bullshit that was locked down from the vendor, as well as the voltage. I got over a 40% improvement just being able to push the fan to 100% and up the voltage.

They work great. I recommend one that comes with a wireless sub. Polk makes some really good ones. You can find them on sale for cheap. I bought mine a couple years ago on Black Friday for half price. They have bluetooth and optical connections, so you can stream from your phone when you want wirelessly, or use the optical or 3.5mm jack on your computer.

I'm planning on building a new gaming PC. I'm unsure of the combination of GPU and monitor I should get.

I was initially wanting to game at 4k on a 32 inch monitor, however I've been reading that it is only worth gaming at 4k on monitors that are 40 inch or larger and that if you do game on a smaller monitor at 4k you would not find that much a benefit.

I have been suggested that a 1440p monitor at 144 hz would be a better option for me.

I am more keen on better visuals as opposed to higher framerate, but if there no discernible difference between 4k and 1440p while viewed on a 32 inch monitor then I would prefer the 1440 144 monitor.

Is 4k really not worth it using 32 inch monitor? Also I'm planning on buying an rtx 2080, should I reconsider my GPU if I do infact opt for the 1440 144 monitor instead?

no, it just sets flags at the beginning of the drive saying all sectors can be overwritten.

Not an expert but half way sure it just deletes the symbolic links. If you want to overwrite all 500gb with zeros for example I think you'll have to do that with bleachbit or something like that, but that takes longer. Most of the data is still there after normal formating because it's not overwritten and you can recover it relatively easy.

It depends on the panel and how it was made. Some larger panels dont have the same pixel density as smaller panels. So it would be better to get s 27inch 4k monitor then a 32 inch 4k monitor that has a lower pixel density.

This doesn't make sense. Resolution is the number of pixels. If the size is smaller, the density is tighter.
I don't think you've used different resolutions at different sizes. 4K looks much better than 1080p at 65", and 1080p looks better at 17.3" than 4k.

A 10" oled screen from Sony back in 2009 was almost $10,000. Looked great. But it was only 1080p. If it was 4k, it wouldn't have mattered. It was only 10". Resolution doesn't matter that much at that size, unless it is within a certain distance of your eyes all the time.

bluetooth is an option on almost everything. it doesn't mean you have to enable it.

If you have a 10000 inch 1080 tv that has 100 PPI vs a 27 inch 4k with 180 PPI,you're better off getting the 4k,The manufacturer creates the screens with different PPI's. Its not mutually exclusive to the resolution or format

My laptop fan's ball bearings going out of place causes the fan to rattle very loudly.
I know it's the ball bearings because the rattling only starts happening if the laptop gets moved around, else if the laptop sits still, the problem never occurs.

Anyway my question is, can I ignore the ball bearing going out of position and causing the rattling noise, if I don't care about it being annoying?
