Fennec/FF is nice on android mainly because I can use Ublock Origin.

Gecko is shit on android, you are better using Bromite and a system wide adblock.

>ubiquity = superiority

Chrome is the most used because Google shills it with all their services. IE was the most used back in the day because it came with Windows. Safari is becoming more popular because Macs and iToys are becoming more popular. Firefox was slower and buggier in 2010 than it is in 2018.

Browser popularity has never correlated with quality.

no better alternative out there.
forks don't count, they're all trashes and unreliable

Firefox
>uses more RAM

>YouTube and PornHub videos buffer slower than Chrome

Chrome just werks. I wish Firefox was as good but using it is too much of an inconvenience.

Sadly there's no better alternative anymore

Chromium, Ungoogled Chromium, Brave and Vivaldi. Chromium is way better than this Gecko bullshit.

How is shit? I use system wide adblocker too but ublock can do more things on browser

All of those are trash though

Ι have no love for chrome, but firefox gets exactly what it deserves for all the shit it pulls
Considering I use waterfox though, what's a solid alternative that will be actively developed once the Mozilla group dies out? Icecat? Brave? Vivaldi?

>Chrome is at 60% market share
>IE has plummeted from >70% to

Chrome

>I use system wide adblocker too but ublock can do more things on browser
There's no reason to unless you are going to pick elements and shit like that. A system wide adblock blocks basically everything on mobile websites.

>How is shit?
Wastes battery like crazy, uses more RAM, load pages slower, shit font and some pages don't load properly. It's simply shitty on mobile.

What happened to shitfox around 2011?

Firefox 4 tried to mimic Chrome tabs and apparently was slower in general.

>2013+ Still shilling proprietary botnet web browsers known to contain PRISM backdoors.

That's when Google really ramped up both development and advertising for Chrome. Firefox took a long time to catch up in terms of features and performance due to Mozilla's much smaller budget (and older, presumably more complex codebase). Firefox' market share is not really catching up because it has lost a lot of brand recognition in the meantime, which is more important to normies than what the product does or how well it does it.

I've experienced none of those issues so I'm good.

>using a browser made by the world's biggest spying and ad company is good

The NPC meme is retarded and probably so is that user, but he's right. It doesn't matter if Firefox has 90% market share or 5% if it's still the best browser for my needs.

Firefox has become a lot worse over the last few years, but it's (unfortunately?) still the best first-party choice at the moment.
Although one could easily argue it's become a second-party Chrome at this point.
At least it's not as bad as with Opera.

Browsers as a whole are in a very sad state.

Chrome started being pre-installed on Android phones.

No thanks, Super Satan

it's not this

So what is Jow Forums's approved version of Chrome?

>Firefox was slower and buggier in 2010 than it is in 2018.

Untrue

Chromium, probably.

I don't like that Firefox is dying. I still find it superior to Chrome, but the devs keep making some shit choices.

Iridium, Brave and ungoogled are fine, I guess.

Firefox

That meme did not come from Jow Forums you fucking luddite

Jow Forums is no better. And it only got popular because Jow Forums.

I hope it dies soon, they have been pulling a lot of bullshit recently.
