What browser do you use? I tried using Pale Moon, but it keeps giving me certificate authentification errors for most sites I visit. Which browser is the best?

I use firefox and i hate it, i would much rather use qutebrowser but it has awful ad and script blocking.

This.
If you want to stay away from booble, bicrosoft and bapple, use firecucks, its a shit but is the best at the moment. Most forks are vanilla ff with few default about:config changes and nothing else(maybe a CoC).
how can the browser you posted BTFO itself?
i use it too
Im sorry but im not a furry
Palemoon is honestly the worst, why would I want to use a browser worse than internet explorer in every way other than botnet? It's design makes me feel like I'm using windows XP internet explorer back when everyone had 5+ bloat extensions.
Waterfox >>> Firefox
Well it werks perfectly
Waterfox on PC.
Brave on mobile.
>Firefox
chromium
Cyberfox and Iridium
Just use Chrome you nerds.
Just use Chrome you goyim.
Firefox > Brave > anything else
Very abstract.
>firefox or chromium
anything else is hipster or lonely manchild -tier
>if you don't allow your data to be leeched and your rights to be treated on, you're a lonely manchild
Pretty much. Individualism is suited exclusively to the outliers of society in the 21st century onwards.
if you're so worried about your data, then you shouldn't be on the internet at all
this is why you should never touch software written by bullied furries
>hurrdurr, you're not worried about your safety, since you go outside, so why don't you want to go to a black neighborhood?
STFU you filthy communist
all they had to do was rename it something like darksun sort of like icecat/iceweasel/abrowser were rebrands of firefox because of nonfree logo and MPL quirks
>It's design makes me feel like I'm using windows XP internet explorer
you called?
The advantage of Pale Moon is that, contrary to other browsers, you can either customize it manually or just install of the themes that do change the whole browser appearance nstead of just the UI's color, like Firecucks.
>all these people posting here who haven't corrected this
What a sad state Jow Forums is these days...
Certificate authentication errors aren't the browser's fault, Pale Moon is just much stricter about it and thus its letting you know that said sites haven't done their auth properly. You can disable it if bothered you that much.
Waterfox until those retards at Mozilla get off their lazy asses and add back all the damn missing API that their 56 version had. I'm not touching Firefox until session manager, tab mix plus and status bar work again on that browser.
so never? Webextensions per API def will never have enough functionality to do all the things those did.
I understand that, I can't expect all the functionality to come back, but a FF without session manager is where I draw the line. They are working on it, but their progress is slow as fuck.
Unionically, Edge.
I don't even remember IE being a problem back when I used to use it but somehow it got a bad rep.
I use chrome and edge. Edge is just as good as chrome, but doesn't have the extensions I like yet, so I don't use it all the time. However, Chrome has some issues using iCloud and academic database web pages, so I started using edge more for..."serious" web use? Whatever. Either way Chrome started getting pretty buggy lately and I'm not sure why because it used to be solid as a rock.
Chromium. Nik's Dev builds in particular.
chromium.woolyss.com
This. Why do people hate edge? Edge is an overhauled IE with all the legacy shit removed, which leaves an excellent browser.
Firefox, but if there was anything better, I'd leave immediately.
I don't care about the old extensions, but shit like Pocket is unforgivable.
If ESR52 was still reliably supported, I'd use it.
>but if there was anything better, I'd leave immediately.
Brave

Stop trolling, please.
Explorer

So... Waterfox?
It's Firefox without the shit on top of it.
>Waterfox
I remember trying that, but there was something wrong with it.
I think some trouble with webextensions.
>qutebrowser

any browser that doesn't try to exploit its userbase and does what you want it to is fine
Most browser memes started with the browser the Vivaldi devs made. They made Opera, and til version 12 it was in their hands. Then they got bought out and Opera turned into a generic Chromium clone. v12 had great features, especially for power users (but didn't hinder novices) was lightweight in spite of that but it started performing worse because the engine got outdated.
So the original devs left the new Opera and made Vivaldi with the same Opera feature, but now with the Chromium engine. It's roughly on par with Opera 12 but it still has ways to go.
If you like Chrome but hate the slowdowns because of all the extensions, and hate having so much shit extensions, get yourself Vivaldi. It probably features most of them out of the box but they're way more usable because professional devs made them.
You’re literally retarded if you don’t use Firefox. As long as you go through about config and disable all the botnet and use the appropriate security addons, it’s the most secure browser. I honestly doubt these Firefox forks have any of the latest security patches.
pale meme is single threaded in the current year of our lord and savior.

complete novice at choosing browsers here. what's the best browser when it comes to being both secure and fast and also gives you a decent amount of UI customability options?
qutebrowser obv
waterfox with e10 and servo ccs activated.
>browsers
I use newsboat for like 99% of my "browsing" now
It works with youtube channels too so I can watch all my "subs" through mpv. w3m, mpsyt and wget take care of the rest
When I do post I just use surf, I have a w3m keybind that will open up the current URL in surf if I ever need to post.
>secure and fast
>decent amount of UI customability
You can only pick one here.
>secure and fast

Firefox
Why does it have to be this way?
Why does life have to be suffering?
It doesn't have to be this way. It's time to be Brave (tm) and use a better browser that isn't scared of the world.
