part of the value in a keyboard like that is the keycaps, abs keycaps cost almost nothing and become shiny and gross in a couple of weeks/months, pbt keycaps last for years, the newer ducky shines come with doubleshot pbt keycaps, just skip the rgb meme and make room in your budget for non-backlit thick pbt keycaps, they just need the light from the monitor to be legible

I can always just buy PBT caps for $20-30 or so for a set. Personally I find that these thicker caps make the keys harder to press? Might have just been my board, but I had an iKBC MF108 v2 with blues, and it requires far more force than my Corsair K70 with blues.
Overall I'm happy with my K70, and returned the iKBC, but I have a second setup which needs a cheap but not painful to use board.
And for the record I am a programmer, and I don't give a single shit about gaming performance. I care about typing speed and accuracy (I average 140WPM)
