I dont think the program recognizes my headphones....

why a program would recognize an analog piece of equipment?

Come home white man.

Maybe you need to install it to "ASUS VN248" instead. I dunno.

Who else ordered? Prospects are pretty good for this lil guy.

I want but I just bought an O2

this isn't /v/. plus it has already been verified by a third party to be good

I want to but in Europe this is gonna a cost me 180€

I hate that aspect too but supposedly it keeps the cost down. Hopefully it's good injection molded plastic and well put together at least.

>implying JDS didnt send him one unit that was made to perfection

>Believing some dumb faggot on his own forum that thinks it's a smart idea to measure non feedback amps and then be amazed why they measure bad

Jesus dude.

these are amps there's very little variation
lmao I can't believe you're still salty it has been a month or two, user

why are you this assmad

Staxbros, redpill me on this seal mod before I order some tape. Anyone try it? How does putting tape on the inside rim help when I assume it's the outer holes the pads attach to where the seal is the weakest?

Attached: stax mods.jpg (2000x1500, 1.42M)

>uu-ur bad
>Give give a proper explanation on to why it's an intelligent decision to benchmark a non feedback amplifier

How far up his ass are you?

Jesus, you spend how much on stax shit, and it looks like it's all made out of bad quality materials. Not even sennheiser is that embarrassing.

hit or miss I guess they always miss, huh?

This is a good thread and GOOD OP.

>Still cant answer the question

Keep shifting the goal post.

BUT WHERES THE DAC?

what does it matter at this point? nfb is shit, nfb amps are shit, measuring one is just so we can have a good laugh. it's like picking on the retard in school

word is they're announcing one soon(tm)

What is this?

Why JDS doesn’t create an affordable multibit DAC to challenge Schiit’s Mimby?

Attached: C29F5C68-DA6F-4FBF-9091-2D3D278F5A16.jpg (3024x4032, 2.55M)

Thanks for getting me into this shit guys, music playing through my headphones sounds like it's coming from outside my head.

gaymur audio interface

cheap pcb, and cheap manufacturing process. Yet charges $200-300+ more just for a "multibit"

schiit can burn.

i have a 58x

Why does regular Modi cost 99 while multimeme costs 249???????

WTF is this multimeme really worth 150% more than the regular modi?

wtf

who buys this shit?

the stupid yggyposter, that's who

R2R DACs are more complicated than just slapping a single delta-sigma chip and calling it a day. Whether it's worth the price difference, just compare them yourself.

That's one of the reason, besides shit QC people are over Schiit.

>add in an extra connection for optical
>Charge them fuckers $150.

retarded sbaf users

SBAF

yes, actual discrete resistor ladder r3r dacs. schiit multimeme dac is a fucking IC on a cheap ass pcb in a ghetto safety hazard case

someone post the schiit pepe sbaf meme

what is sbaf?

super best audio fools

The analog devices R2R chip they use was never intended originally for audio use (inb4 "why use it then huh???"). It's still more complicated than a delta-sigma chip that was made for audio in the first place.

super big anus fondlers

A forum full of retarded audiophiles who discuss things that cannot be measured or proven.

Attached: 1539215963490[1].png (776x1020, 290K)

seriously based as fuck

still a ghetto solution for a design that is already a meme itself

saggy ballsacks and fags

because multibit is a meme

Is this worth it?

I want a tube amp under 150

Also are tube amps a meme?

Attached: 2018-11-15 21_16_40-Schiit Audio, Headphone amps and DACs made in USA..jpg (769x781, 40K)

It’s still the cheapest multibit DAC around, think it like that.

They go through tubes like a teenager does condoms

okay but wtf is this multibit shit?

$219.99
wot

It's just the name schiit uses for R2R, really.

Traditional modern DACs use a "delta-sigma" method. Essentially, these dacs are a single bit and simply flip the full voltage output on and off very very fast to create a sound wave.

Multibit dacs instead actually output multiple voltages and combine them together. Using a resistor ladder for instance.

They sound the same.

some faggot shit that performs measurably worse than regular DACs that cost far less but people with more money than sense swear totally sounds better

>people talking bullshit about SCHIIT

Shut the fuck up, SCHIIT are some of the best, and decently priced. You PAY for quality.

hybrids like that yes, actual otl tubes do differ from solid state and are really enjoyable with the correct headphone. if you like that difference is up to you. also dont buy schiit garbage.

are you schiit's astroturfer?

>Schiit representative here. If you have an issue, I advise you to contact our support

Attached: animeqt2.jpg (789x764, 44K)

>astroturfer
u wot? You asked what "multibit" meant, and I answered. It's just R2R.

tranny

Beyer and stax?

>It’s still the cheapest multibit DAC around, think it like that.
reads like a marketing spin
are YOU a schiit employee?

What's with the ziploc?

>>It’s still the cheapest multibit DAC around, think it like that.
Not my post, all I said was that "multibit" is just R2R.

Keeps Dust Out of the driver until i get a dedicated stand and cover

Is the driver that sensitive? They should protect it better.

Stax autists think that storing the stax in a ziplock will protect them...

Why it all always gets so contentious when SCHIIT is mentioned? Even if you don’t love their current lineup, you have to give them some credit for starting the current price wars with original Magni + Modi (which actually are shit today, but at least they forced other mfgs to create cheaper alternatives too).

Attached: E215B4A9-A508-4588-8FB9-5F7BB25F482A.jpg (600x360, 15K)

You don't have to be that paranoid over it really. The drivers already have dust covers.

it has an internal dust shield but since its a static charge its bound to attract dust

I have Magni 3, cant complain works good

Newer Staxes are better protected with internal dust filters.

I legitimately feel bad for this girl at this point tbhon because she's not even trans but her meme status means she gets asked/accused of being that all the time

The old ones from decades ago also had dust filters m8.

What you listening to boomers?

I have carpet thats older than those headphones so dust is a major issue

>doesn't have wood flooring
My condolences.

>Vengaboys
Based

no one else here is bothered by the blatant astroturfing? I'm about ready to start sending pizzas

dubstep

They seem to have functional engineering sensibilities, so they aren't going to go through the trouble of doing some worse for greater cost.

The converter modules are more expensive and require more hardware to make them work with audio signals.
The converters used have some advantages for higher-bandwidth signals, but not for a low-bandwidth application such as audio.

That's totally reversed from how that works. A resistor ladder is simple to construct, whereas the cost for a DSM was not sensible until the 1980s.
It's not really an R2R either.

Attached: Capture.png (1028x584, 622K)

>whereas the cost for a DSM was not sensible until the 1980s.
It's a good thing we're no longer in the 1980s then. DS chips are cheap as fuck nowadays.

Friendly Reminder: you can spend as much as you want on phones, but the source matters more. Especially file size.

what player is that?

I didnt know yobanii ruski pidars browse here

its foobar2000 with some skin but i just randomly found Aria and thought they had good music and downloaded the whole Discography

Ok guys I'm losing my shit trying to find a good headset, I feel like this is the only place to know what's good. I play pretty much exclusively on ps4 with my friends, I know the PC and PS4 probably have different shit to make a headset/phones really pop like the Sennheisers G300 sound fantastic on PC but pretty quiet and lacking in bass on ps4 because of the controllers shitty soundcard. I'd really want something that's loud and great as fuck, I dont really care about mic quality

TL;DR: What's a good headset for PS4?
