Fucking American bullshit fear of doors and privacy

I love doors.

It's so they can get a clear shot OP

I haven't seen any new constructs under $800k with the open memecept

Why is their a bedroom just there? Wut?

You have an open living area and compartmentalise the bedrooms and bathr-
>There's a fucking bedroom just sitting there
Jesus christ

It's kiddults. Pure and simple.
The modern house is the cubby house they never had as a kid

Bedrooms and bathrooms should obviously have a door. But there is nothing wrong with an open living/dinning room.

>privacy
if only you or you and your gf live there, why do you need privacy?

The remake looks fucking trash. They change the police station lobby.

haha imagine being invited to the house party, meeting a cutie and taking her to the bedroom for a quick inconspicuous bang

You have no taste if you think that's bad.

I just want to sleep

I don't mind open plan design as long as the bed bath etc. are traditionally walled off.

>no walls separating the bedroom from the kitchen
That's fucking stupid. Guess you'll never have guests visiting.

I live on my own in an apartment that has sliding doors between the main bedroom and the living room.

I always keep the sliding doors open, creating one big open space.

Kitchen, bathroom and 2nd bedroom (which I use for laundry and storage) are separate though.
And I would especially hate a shared kitchen and bedroom because of the smell.

This type of design is appropriate for offices or commercial spaces, but not for the home

This was my thought. Thought OP was being an idiot. Having a bedroom in the living/kitchen is stupid.

When you live like that you're having orgies not dinner parties.

this
I grew up in an "open concept" house with an open living and dining room, however the bedrooms had walls and a door. OPs pic looks ridiculous with the open bedroom.

Normal people don't mind having guests see their bed.
Just clean up any cum stains before you invite people over.

But you don't want any greasy smells from cooking penetrating the sleeping area.

>open house design is cancer
it works really well with mini splits
