I always get a stiffy when I look at my UD3 board because they won't make something like this with the power delivery at a cheap price on new sockets.

Why have we strayed so far from gods divine light?

>raspberry PI's and Stick PCS more popular than ever
>Mechanical Keyboard always sells well
>Play station mini etc.
would be nice is someone made combo SBC mechanical keyboard pc.

is that the 3399?
doesn't it only have 1 usb c ? and the other usb are 2.0?
What are you using it as? capture card?

just make one yourself. the raspberry pi zero probably fits inside the empty crevices of a keyboard

you think? Oh my fucking god...

That's not the Amiga 600 with Pushover

>those cement resistors blackened the paper pcb

I guess housefire-tier electronics always existed

>he needs a numpad
Only babys and grandmothers needs numpads

I have wondered why we don't have more keyboard PCs, keyboards are rarer than screens so if someone buys a computer most likely they need a keyboard and not a screen, yet we'd rather sell PCs with screens without a keyboard than a keyboard with a PC.

I'm not that person.. but at work I do occasionally need the numpad to quickly input measurement data, as it's much quicker to do it on numpad compared to the numbers row

Because tablet

used keyboards are gross.

used screens are okay

>used keyboards are gross.
This. If I'm selling an old complete system, I'll buy like a keyboard and mouse bundle for £20 or less and just add it to the cost of the old system with "NEW KEYBOARD AND MOUSE! STILL IN BOX!" added to the advert. The only people who buy manky keyboards are mechanical fags who want rare old shit.

unclean things are gross, most things can be cleaned, things that can't be cleaned are consumables meant to be replaced

this thing looks cool AF

Just like the old Amiga all in one units back in the day. 500, 600 and 1200. I got a 1200 in 94 that lasted me for 4 years until I built my own PC.

What laptop is that?

Vaio X505.

Goddamn they must be pretty rare since the only one I found on Ebay is from Russia for $420

Rescued one of these from a thrift shop today, mine's been beat up but still plays and records and the auto reverse is orgasmic. Needs a new idler tire, though.

Using the nipple on the old POS toshibas at my job. Wish I could make an innuendo about it to my female coworkers, but they are 6/10s at best.

yeah it's fucking rough working with people 4 points above you

a japanese market libretto, probably a 50ct or maybe a 70ct. those seem to be pretty common

librettos are kind of overrated though to be honest, their pointing devices are just plain awful if you intend to do anything more than take pictures of them to post on Jow Forums/reddit and the keys are a little on the small side (though still usable once you adjust to them)

this unironically would fit the demand some members of this board have for both crt displays and non-intel chipsets in one machine.

I remember having one of these as a kid, a good time playing civ II. honestly, any computer from mid-90s to mid-00s is a guaranteed turn on for me lol

well FUCK!!!

i came to share my latest and of course my long neglected rebel t3 won't come on.

i'll just explain:

FDM 3D printer as starting point
but instead of hot plastic, i use mist (water) + liquid nitrogen puffs to freeze it on impact.

the timing was a bitch to get right.
but hey, i don't need no stinking heated bed!

icy sculptures are very frosty (idk how to get clear ice)

what do you all think?

Only if you're a meme-chasing hipster that just sees "non-Intel" and "CRT" and doesn't look any further. I love my G3s and eMacs, but they're hardly the best of either of those worlds.

Attached: sparc_elc_1_full.jpg (750x653, 89K)

Have it modular. Easy solution, or don't buy used

>ugh I'm such an intellectual because I use high end or enterprise hardware, not like those meme plebs who only care about "non-Intel" and "CRT".

Keyboards are also upwards of hundreds of dollars cheaper, far easier to acquire and far more often swapped/replaced/damaged by users than monitors that are often a longer-term investment and usually replaced as often as the computer itself. AIOs built around a display rather than a keyboard can also have more room to grow and overall take up less space in practice than what is basically a bulk-ass tethered laptop with no battery or screen.

The only reason that form factor existed in the '70s and '80s was because monitors were expensive, TVs were ubiquitous and low-end home computers were pretty much just novelty toys mostly being used for tinkering/entertainment. Once people started actually using them productively at home to the point that dedicating a desk and investing in a monitor was worthwhile, there was absolutely no good reason to use an inferior, less expandable and more constricted/proprietary form factor like that over more modular alternatives.

Driver for that thing's GPU will be mainlined within a year. We ARM FOSS now.

Nice projection, and thanks for proving my point. That's not what I was actually saying at all, though.

Why do soibois geek out over these stupid boards when you can have a fucking ITX board with a ryzen 8c/16t that is small and does it all?

Does a Ryzen 8c/16t board run from a 9v battery?

Well no but I'm sure if you scaled any modern microarch back enough you could run it on a fucking lemon.

most of them are "maker" retards like who can't cut it for actual embedded systems development but pretend they can anyway
