Don't have gpuz or cpuz on this relatively fresh install, so hwinfo will have to do

whole rigs a bit long in the tooth but if you dont currently have any issues using it for what you need it for itll be fine until that situation changes

thanks for the input

Waiting on the next GTX lineup and AMD Zen2

how much porn do you have?

Actually none, I just have a ton of footage, music, movies, VSTs, pictures, source code and also a ton of games installed.
I'm seriously considering moving to an SFF case and just keeping 2SSDs and moving all the HDDs to a NAS or something, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. This computer already works as a hub for game streaming, video and music streaming, and as a remote workstation that I remote to from my laptop.

hm, in my case my chip could do it. But I didn't win the silicon lottery, the voltages are way too high to run it 24/7, and I didn't even test to botter for stable with it since I was already at 1.475v just to run cinebench.
Even at 3.8ghz @1.35v I still need to double check more thoroughly, not sure if this is prime95 6 hours+ worthy yet.
My gpu could do 1752mhz easy peasy though. 1075mV (+50%), but with fans at the max, rock solid stable though. I'm keeping this 1642mhz at 55ºC (logged hwinfo 10hrs assassins creed gaming session, max temp reported was 59ºC), 1000mV, fans at 2480rpm. Quiet is realtive to each user, with headphones, that rpm doesn't botter me at all, but I understand some would argue. With headphones it's not even white noise, without, it's not unpleasant and whiny. I actually didn't mind them at 3300rpm that much.

Rate please.

thinly veiled, update your gpuz and cpuz nao bred

I don't why I replied. I really shouldn't have bottered.

the fuck?

Well, my shitposting powers surpass that of the typical normie.

My CPU is running on 3.00 GHz, I don't understand it.

anyone who even knows of this place already surpasses the typical normie by default.
Your shitposting powers were mediocre at best.

I got an i7-4790 (non-K) for only $150 back in 2016. I can't really justify the price of getting an i7-4790K so I'll probably stick with it for another two to three years.

why the hell are you running such an old, outdated version of gpu-z?

not everyone is retarded to buy a literal house fire overpriced 2080 ti that sucks at the R in rtx, raytracing.

its from hirens boot

3.9GHz Is the most my 1700 can do with a Hyper 212 EVO. I still like this a lot, I wish I could have got a Vega 64 but I bough during the mining craze after selling my RX 480.

I dont get the point of this thread. Its mostly just people using top tier cpus matched with top tier gpus. Theres no variety.

that is what makes it fun

I've been wanting to upgrade my platform, but I haven't found anything I liked completely. i9 9900K looks nice, but it's overpriced and runs very hot, still has unfixed hardware security issues as well. Ryzen doesn't quite clock as high as I'd like and doesn't have enough PCIe lanes or any mobos with a PLX chip.

Maybe Zen 2, or maybe I'll get insanely lucky on a 9900K deal. I already have the cooling at least.

nice, comfy build. there is just something about a 1600x and a rx 580 paired together. like perfect balance, ratio of performance.
