if you don't need them, maybe donate them to homeless people. i was surprised to learn that a lot of homeless people have cellphones. you'd think that they are a luxury item, but it turns out that they are really amazing tools for them to stay in contact with resources. a lot of times they use free wifi at starbucks or something and free virtual phone numbers so they can make/receive calls and emails. most of the time though they just have shitty androids. an iphone would be pretty nice for them.

Sorry, don't know that part, never used iOS. But since all of those devices have a pretty good camera, wifi connectivity and low power consumption you might have a potentially cheap surveillance system.
