How much do you think I could get for my build?

Intel Core i5-3470
12Gigs of RAM
No GFX card and 230Gb hard drive with a CD drive

I want cash for a 4K TV on Black Friday. I got it for $150 and upgraded the RAM.

I'll give you 40 bucks for it.

>4K TV
For what purpose? You sit far away from a TV.

The biggest question really is what kind of RAM

>playing video games on TV
>OWNING A CONSOLE IN 2018

>wanting cash for literal garbage
kill yourself

>PLAYING VIDEO GAMES in 2018

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!!!!

>Playing video games
Are you 12 years old? Grown men shouldn't be playing video games.

quadra ram

grown men shouldn't watch cartoons too
but look at Jow Forums...
pathetic

>Not getting an Xbox One X for 4K Halo and Gears of War which are only on console and is a superior game compared to most PC garbage
>Only games on PC that aren't on console require a metric fuck ton of cash to properly game 4K on compared to the console which was specifically made by people to efficiently run games at 4K and usually at 60FPS for only $400.

>4K at 60 FPS on a console
I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE

1333 Ares RAM from like 2012 lol

>Most games don't run above 60fps at 4k on $2000+ setups
>Actually spending that much more for gaming that gets ~10 more frames instead of buying a console with games that are made by developers to fully utilize the hardware and make the gaming experience that much better for less than half of the price
>Has no great games that aren't already on console also without the fantastic award winning console only games at 60fps anyway
>Mindlessly cucks himself to parroting Jow Forums incel level copypasta to feel better at spending too much cash on shittier games that don't have a big community for more than a year tops compared to games on console that go on for 3+ years strong

I've been on Jow Forums since 2011 Kronosfag
At least us REAL newfags know about technology and don't have to parrot shit they see here for people to pay attention to them.
Fucking incel.

If it's a mid tower it's worth around $150. Around $20 less if it's a useless SFF.

Mid tower. Thanks man. It's slimmer than my old full ATX. I might keep it and upgrade it to a GTX 750 with a new case for 4K but I need to grab that cheap ass 4K tv from BestBuy this year, it's the cheapest 4K TV ever to be for sale so far and I don't see prices dropping that low again at least until next Black Friday.

Yes, keeping it would be the best option. It's still a fine CPU, and you're not going to find better unless you pay significantly more.

What power supply does it have? You can find Radeon 7850's and 7870's on craigslist in the $50-70 range that would annihilate a 750.

It is too thin for a traditional graphics card so I'd also have to upgrade the case or I'd just buy the card, also I buy new because who knows how much lil' Johny overclocked his first graphics card before posting it on ebay.

You can buy similar shit for like $100 new with a larger hard drive

That would make it a SFF. Which also means it almost certainly doesn't have a PSU that can power a decent graphics card, and it might be proprietary to boot. If so you can't even upgrade it.

You shouldn't fear used. I buy used exclusively without an issue.

You can find 4GB SFF's. 12GB would up it a bit, and mid-towers go for more.

Well I have already upgraded it to 12gbs of RAM, it has to be upgradeable and I bet it is. I know the PSU is small as fuck. If the power button wasn't broken on my old case I'd put it in there. I'm going to sell it for around $160 and make some cash off of some dumbass locals.

I have an old 1TB drive I can put in it but it doesn't have Windows on it so I haven't gotten around to it. I would probably include that with it.
