I am using uBlock origin and uMatrix on mobile too, they works I am not downloading your shitty app
Landon Perez
>INSTALL MY CRAPWARE, GOY!
Fuck off, OP. We already know how to install AdAway, and uBlock Origin on Mobile Firefox.
Eli Flores
>We already know how to install AdAway, and uBlock Origin on Mobile Firefox >We 99% of mobile retards on this website complain about seeing ads. Phone ads are incentivizinv Hiro to ruin this website, put 2 and 2 together moron.

What about clover? That shit has no ads, or?
Ayden Edwards
clover doesn't have adds
But the point is to block ads system wide so other apps don't have adds or trackers. Which blokada or adway does. Why can't people understand this?
Jace Sullivan
Why doesn't it show a list of blocked content? Instead there is just this stupid "X ads blocked" number on the menu It's a good adblocker app but honestly the ui sucks, and the popup about donating is really annoying too
Charles Martin
Here's a non-retarded guide
-Download AdAway
Mason White
I've only seen the popup if I open the app after it updates. There's no reason to even open the app unless you're trying to turn it on or off. Which I do very rarely
Jaxson Lee
yeah, still some logs would be welcome
Connor Lee
>Why doesn't it show a list of blocked content? Not sure what you mean but it shows the last ad or tracker that was blocked. You want a list of all ads ever that were blocked?
>Not sure what you mean but it shows the last ad or tracker that was blocked Exactly, that's the problem, there should be a way to see all the blocked content, with time, date and the app where the ad has been blocked
Parker Ramirez
>brave >Botnet Why is brave a botnet?
Benjamin White
>and the app where the ad has been blocke Nevermind I just remembered this is probably not doable since it's using dns blocking
Luke Clark
Firefox+Ublock Origin works fine.
Austin Long
I use that too. But what about other apps?
Jonathan Rodriguez
Clover doesn't have adds.
Adrian Russell
Or just use clover ffs
Brayden Cook
That's the only 2 you use?

don't use playstore blokada, it doesn't provide adblocking functionality (aside from DNS) use the f-droid one instead
Dylan Smith
>aside from DNS DNS adblocking is still adblocking, same concept as a pihole
Jonathan Mitchell
Can the client source prove the servers have no logs? No.
Joseph Jones
You can't prove thats the same source as the apk. F-Droid explicitly checks it does.
Firefox / ublock origin extension on mobile just works.
Benjamin Perez
>implying clover will even work after this channel shit goes live
Blake Johnson
Been using this for a while but just like everything else non-root it can't block ads built against API 25+
>You can't prove thats the same source as the apk. F-Droid explicitly checks it does. So just use the version from F-Droid, as you should. >Can the client source prove the servers have no logs? No. Uh, what servers? VPN is created locally. And this is a moot point in other cases as well, especially given how hard is to prove something like this and how few decentralized servers of anything exist.
Jaxon Young
This.
Ian Price
>iPhone AdGuard works.
Oliver James
>don't use playstore blokada Yes, download the malware from F-Droid.
Grayson Watson
Both are open source and on F-Droid. Adblock for Android is just a browser. Blokada is system wide.
You're argument, cock goggling freetard?
Dominic Powell
Or just AdAway and Afwall+. AdAway fixes ads in anything that has internet access, Afwall+ blocks them from even accessing the internet.
Jace Campbell
>last update was 1 year ago This is the reason why I switched to blokada, DNS66 is a dead project.
Jordan Bennett
as long as the lists are working
Lincoln Lopez
>don't use playstore blokada >Yes, download the malware from F-Droid. >malware >F-Droid Are you literally retarded?
Ayden Sanders
t. google employee
Cameron Jackson
Hosts-based blockers suck major dick, especially on mobile where the lists do not block mobile-specific hostsnames.
Jonathan Morales
Not even that's the case. I remember that one of the default lists stopped working long ago.
Justin Parker
>I remember that one of the default lists stopped working long ago. you mean pollocks? just delet and add again.
Blake Stewart
>implying I want and have time to manage lists by my own No thanks bro, outsourcing exists for a reason.
YOU CAN SET UP ADGUARD DNS IN YOUR ANDROID OR ROUTER. No need for a freaking app. There's an android app for literally every single stupid shit you can do with your fingers on android, it's ridiculous.
When using adgaurds dns can I add my own custom filter lists? I use unbound on my router but people arent always on their home network when using a MOBILE device.
Julian Perry
>my own custom stfu faggot
Nicholas Rivera
So that's a no? Ok then.
John Wright
Blokada allows your DNS change even outside your home network. ie. 4G
0 Tired of seeing idiots give Hiro ad money and now he thinks he can fuck the website because of it. You can use whatever you want to block ads but this is the easiest way for your average normalfag to do it. You're entirely missing the point of this thread.
Jose Sanders
Average normalfags who access this site with a mobile browser should all eat shit and die.
For YouTube, use the YouTube Vanced magisk module or newpipe
Asher Sanchez
Network Analyst here with a CompTIA Network Cert II, can confirm uBlock Origin only visually hide ads and checking my various network monitors multiple ad network websites continue to load behind the scenes, only when they are fully loaded does uBlock Origin hide the ads in question. Now I'm no Adblock Plus shill, Infact I still use the old HOSTS file method but with this information in mind I cannot recommend uBlock Origin to anyone who is serious about blocking (not hiding) ads. The proof can be obtained by anyone, grab your preferred network monitor and see the results for yourself. Thanks.
