first is the audio output sounds much better - my zishan has +/- 13 volt power supply driving its op amps ... its got balls destroys my iphone 6s
second is tactile buttons you can use blind and instant response without a huge OS in the way - my zishan skips tracks faster than an old NES gamepad plus the analogue volume knob is GOAT
thirdly more supported format in higher res - my zishan does 32 / 192 wav flac ape and DSD 64 / 128 that iphone does not and just micro sd convenience
fourth its a DAC i use with my mac air
fith at 40 bucks its expendable and i wont cry

~$40 is pretty much bottom tier for decent DAPs, anything cheaper isn't really worth it and you'd be better using your current phone instead of spending more shekels.

ATEs are pretty good if all you want are good iems you don't give a fuck about losing/breaking. Personally I would go for the ZSTs or ES4s for the removable cable.
This Z2 + T2 combo cost me AU 80 last year.... in 2018 you would of needed to spend 10 times that price to get the same level of performance its a DAP and USB DAC ... just pull the trigger nigga

I got a RUIZU X02 recently and I tried to update the software and I think I borked it. I used the AGPtek A02T firmware, which updated with no problems and works, but screws the menu buttons up. I know there is an AGPtek firmware that will work with the Ruizu without any issues, what version is it that works?
this one is the cheapest and i would not bother personally ... maybe 8 years ago but not now ipods sound like trash compared to newer chink DAPs

the pure taktile screenless sensation of operating the Z2 is actually refreshing and addictive. I just have a 64gb card in mine and load it up with the weeks fresh DSD downloads and click away... its good at night not to have a screen blaring in your face and the analogue knob is just pure joy ... you have to experience it

Thats why i bought the Zishan AK4497 DSD on 11.11 it has the new screen ak4497 DAC with extra filters and a beefy 2.5mm quad opamp balanced headphone output. Its the next step up and seems to giving astell and kerns a run for their money. if you can afford it pull the trigger nigga

I have played around with previous firmwares and have found that [AGPTEK_A02(20180918)] works but the screen has a blue tint, but, [A02_firmware_upgrade(20171121)] works a lot better with proper colours and better controls with the menu buttons.
