1. OS drive always requires spare spaces to function, especially to function efficiently. 2. You will definitely require and install many different apps, updates...etc in future. You might also want to install some games on it sometime. These all require spare spaces.
So bigger is always nicer. Nevertheless the choice is still up to you.
