Better than phoneposting

no

no but Manjaro is
Arch pushes out updates that break your dependences
Manjaro prevents this from happening

It's decent.

I hope Hiro gets dick cancer.

its documentation is par excellence

Is that Archie? the fat guy from the logo?

ask this question to yourself: Do you want an OS to become your full time job?

haha math joke xD

Yes

I want an Arch Linux t-shirt for dank meme points.

does he lurk Jow Forums?

he makes the desktop threads

Manjaro devs are incompetent.

as opposed to the Arch devs?
>if we release the update, they're all goons have to fix this shit
>ah fuck em, they don't have any lives anyway, they'll appreciate the work they'll have to do!

They don't write the updates themselves, retard.

right, but they don't prevent the dumb shit from happening
at least Manjaro devs do

Nah

What have Manjaro devs actually done besides forget to renew their SSL certificate?

I've said it multiple times, I guess you're too retarded to read

You haven't said what they actually prevent, just that you think they prevent things.

no, you're retarded, see

The only guy I know who uses Arch is morbidly obese. A nice guy, but over 150 kilograms.

You are just saying that it happens, not showing that they actually prevent anything.

considering the fact that packages don't fuck break Manjaro like they do Arch, it speaks for itself, or are you just pretending to be retarded?

I've heard more people complain about Manjaro breaking than Arch. Arch has never broken on me in the 3 years I have used it.

God you /v/ meme lovers are insufferable.

>/v/ meme

Learn to read. I said /v/ meme lovers, as in you are a meme lover from /v/.

>hurling insults because he got called out for his lies

Okay, memer, everyone who says something that contradicts your fragile world view is a liar.

>linux
no
>arch
hell no

>muh anecdotal evidence
you're not convincing anyone

As opposed to your... evidence?

search it then, Manjaro is not known for breaking unlike Arch which has a rep just for that

Any evidence? Or are you going to blow more hot air?

no I'm going to blow your dick

Sounds more like another opinion. Can you back up the claim that Arch breaks annually?

>annually
lol, it breaks far more often than that
what evidence is going to actually satisfy you? you keep denying the claims even though it's been presented
sorry, but arch is an autists tinker toy of an OS and the Manjaro Devs actually do a better job of reviewing packages than the Arch devs do so the chances of a package update breaking the OS is far less than with Arch

>you keep denying the claims even though it's been presented
Presented without evidence, yes.
>sorry, but arch is an autists tinker toy of an OS and the Manjaro Devs actually do a better job of reviewing packages than the Arch devs do so the chances of a package update breaking the OS is far less than with Arch
You keep saying this but you can't back it up.

>many different users experiencing Arch breaking on updates isn't evidence
>a publication stating that Arch is unstable isn't evidence
you're either retarded or autistically defending a broken tinker toy
the latter is FAR more likely

>>many different users experiencing Arch breaking on updates isn't evidence
You just claimed that, it doesn't mean it is true.
>>a publication stating that Arch is unstable isn't evidence
Being published on a website doesn't suddenly make an opinion a fact.

It's a somewhat worse version of Debian.

They're nothing alike.

Not as good as Void Linux

Oh fuck yourself. Manjaro is a baby distro for people too stupid to install Arch, but too smug to use a *buntu or Fedora.

I installed Manjaro on my ThinkPad and fucking hated it.

>Closing the laptop lid caused some retarded screen issue, managed to fix it
>Installed the most recent (((proprietary))) GPU driver, somehow installing catalyst fucked Whisker menu, and it lost my config
>Graphics performance somehow managed to be worse
>Uninstall and reinstall free drivers
>Things seemed ok
>Few days later random crash while Pacman -Syu
>Have to hard reset as nothing is doing anything
>Whoops looks like it somehow managed to corrupt lightDM and I have a cli only system now
>Use LiveUSB to recover light DM, recovery and repair seems to go well reboot
>Whoops looks like grub is now fucked and you have no efi partition

And that's when I reinstalled Xubuntu

Fuck Manjaro. If you're going to make a "just wurks" distro, make it actually work

literally have never had anything break on arch in my 6 months on it.

Ah well buccsrroos it’s been nice being a reddit tier arch cuck but I’m on my way to install gentoo now so I can just bee myself. Was better than being a Ubuntu or mint tard at least

What browser is that?

For horsefuckers, maybe.

Don't fall for the "it breaks all the time" and "its hard to install" memes. It depends on what you want to do with your PC pretty much, can't decide for you

>Not as good as Void Linux
Void chad here. I use Void.

I have used Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Mint, Elementary, Manjaro and finally Arch. I have NEVER had any technical issues with them. I have also used these different distrobutions on at least three different laptops, one server and two desktops without any hardware or software issues. The one reason I enjoy using Arch on my Server, Desktop and Laptop is because I can build the OS with only the required packages for each purpose. Mind you my job is not incredibly demanding, so I have the time required IF something breaks. I can respect your choice based on prevous experience, but I encourage anyone to try a distro before they give their outlook on it.

imagine being too stupid to install arch
