Despite the fact that AMD has obviously won and is leading the CPU race now, I think it's still impressive how long Intel's 14nm+++... managed to stay competitive, ignoring the current iterations just being goy milkers with +10% power at the cost of +25% TDP plus the CPU's costing almost twice the AMD equivalent; one can only imagine how far 10nm might be able to be pushed if Intel ever manages to not fuck up mass production and stop being greedy Jews

It's time they come up with something entirely new, "gluing" cores is the future.

Eh, they would probably be worse than 14. Smaller transistors leak more, they already have to use like 3 of them for them to work properly. Notice how the highest overclocked CPUs are half a decade old and 32nm. Sure, there are still power savings, but silicon is already running on fumes.

Therein lies the problem. They can't. They literally can't. And that is why they are failing, and will continue to fail. AMD played the smarter game through and through.

Intel hasn't laid you retards off yet, I see.

Two can play this game.

Imagine the Rome scores. 2x the cores AND 21% higher IPC.

>continue to fail
What a newfag

Intel always had a price premium over their CPUs, its how they become a 100bn+ company while AMD was always the poorfag CPU company

The i7 920 debuted at $300 in 2008

>IT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE WE AREN'T LEADING

I am honestly starting to believe these are bots. I made this as an Intel appreciation thread and you STILL come and shill here

10nm was always expected to initially lose out to 14nm+ on Intel's roadmaps. It's going to be fun when the process actually comes out and has to compete with the even more ridiculously optimized 14nm+++++ one.

It's all Intlel can afford these days kek

Can you play arma 3? Pls post yaab.

>AMD won

Ryzen chips can't even hit 5GHz

>its only bots when Intel does it
>but not when AMDrones post the same cherrypicked benchmarks, the same wojaks and the same spam

AMDrones are the true NPCs

FX could hit over 8, so what? We all should go buy visheras or something?

Fuck yeah, FX was a beast.

Not yet at least.
3700x Black edition next year.

FX hit 5ghz, but performed worse than a Sandy Bridge i5 running at 3ghz meanwhile Intel at 5ghz performs better than ryzen.
