Got a new job three months ago at a big tech company.

Right when I start, I get seated by the coffee machine. I ask the director if there are any other available seats, as it would get quite noisy. The director then replies "I don't know how to say this nicely, but you're a new hire" and leaves. Now, I'm a professional and I've dealt with people who have had bad days before. I know the standard procedure; smile and say that I understand - and don't take any offense.

The past month, I've been asked to come in on the weekends. There was a public poll put up on our teams channel for who was going to come in, in what seemed like a thinly veiled coercion method. I then immediately applied for another job. I now have an interview next Monday at a place that pays for your Masters degree.

You should have called your manager's bluff and when they tried to sass you out about it, you should follow it up with "Ok then, I'm too sick to come in so I'm taking sick leave." That's surely going to put them behind and it'll make your manager look bad.
Also, write up a half decent linkedin and put your status to casually looking and enable recruiters to find work for you. Everywhere's supposedly got a shortage of software engineers, so recruiters lap that shit right up. You don't need to quit your job right now, you're just opening yourself up to alternatives.
