None available due to plastic chassis, sadly. Maybe ill put a cute sticker on mine instead.

Why Stax $4000 shitphones sound worse than a $200 mid-fi AKGs? Electrostats are useless garbage wtf.

JDSLabs engraved and shipped my order 63 minutes after I placed it

only one person gave his (her) power, blame /hpg/ for being low energy

The love live wiki has per-ep list of songs, which might be helpful. S2 is better, by the way.
Note that the anime had like 10% if even that of all love live songs. And the others are also good.

They must have ordered something else, no engraving is available for atom and its backordered atm. But I do support your plan outside of those details

>DSD is great for converting to PCM
yeah i did that for the past 6 years as my digital crossovers maxed out at 24/96 and my iphone maxed out at 24/48

Then i got a DSD DAP and regretted not getting it way sooner. The Zishans with the AK dacs are so cheap there is no excuse.

>Is it a file format?

its a different MODUALTION technique. just as FM is different to AM.... DSD is the analogue waveform modulating a simple high speed bitstream. It is not decimated or encoded into "points on a graph" like PCM we have been using since the 70's

Its a perfect archival format, but can not be put through any form of digital signal processing due to its simple 1bit nature. Also storage technology can just handle it. My 64gb card fits only about 15 DSD 128 albums and DSD library at home just passed 4tb which is a fair chunk to manage ( i mirror it too )

there is more material out there than you think: rutracker.org/forum/tracker.php?nm=DSD 128

i'm sure they'll start releasing metal cases for probably $30 more in the future. my guess is they wanted to get a $99 competitive amp out before holiday sales.
don't shit up the thread with your nonsense posts

The tiny increase in fidelity over 24/96 or even 16/44.1 is not worth giving up the massive potential increase in fidelity DSP offers.

Whats the cheapest way to get the full extent of the HD 650s i'm about to buy off craigslist.
I have been using the Hd 558 and loving them but these are cheap and I want them.

You might need an amp.

JDS Atom

If you need amp and dac you can check dx3 pro

DSP hardware and software are built for PCM. This includes the system-wide output mixer.
DSD doesn't sound any better and is a massive pain to work with.

Ensure you understand HD600 vs HD650 (there's plenty of videos on youtube about that) before you order either.

this:
then get the 600 becouse they shit on 650 very hard

If that's all I need that would be ideal.
I'll know if I need an amp if things are too quiet sure but how can I know if I'll need a DAC?
Considering the HD650s usually cost 500-750 AUD and I'm getting these for 330 I don't give a fuck.
I'm stealing this deal while I can and dealing with the consequences later.

you can get the hd6xx on massdrop (basically 650 repainted) for 200$ that if i understand correctly are still less than 330 australian fake money

Not even close.
With shipping, import charges and GST it comes out to 390

australia have import charges from hamburgerland? lol that sucks

Do you think μ's will appear at Tokyo 2020 Olympics?

Based and redpilled, Report back how you like them.
What amp you using?

im not even a programmer kek

Nobody knows I even watch anime, if you'd see me you'd think just a regular normie....wait...maybe I am a regular normie

you're a qt trap and you know.

Beyerdynamic headphones litrelly hurt my ears
they give me pain in the ear canal / eardrum

I used to think that but now i disagree. This recording is analogue tape > vinyl > DSD and its just captured some magic i have never ever heard of before

rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5457608

yep its not part of the modern studio chain at alll and you would need to be a madman to even go there, but as an archival format for listening analogue recordings DSD is king

( i even think the octa DSD format is getting a little crazy )

Attached: e85dd6786636d8fd894579bc1c1b5d0a.jpg (500x500, 100K)

I have tinnitus from using mine but it's still better than settling for an untermensch brand

this, and the few models that dont rape your eardrum out of treble are still v shaped as hell

Do you really? From loud volume or the treble?

this thread is funny kek

I actually went to the doctor thinking i had an ear infection... but it's most likely listeners fatigue from beyerdynamic headphones

Theory of 1-bit, as told by Philips. PDF.
researchgate.net/publication/252809937_One-bit_Audio_An_Overview

It's a relatively space-efficient format, given the bandwidth, designed by Sony Music for internal use. They were digitizing master tapes and mixes for storage. A low pass filter can be inserted simply to meet whatever data rate. Someone got the idea to release it direct to the public and skip the intermediate stage. I guess the audiophile appeal was that this inconvenient format that disables almost everything digital makes a simple conversion chain. But that never was the case; multibit converters had already replaced 1-bit converters.

DSD is a pretty lousy format. It's much more prone to instability and oscillation, and 1-bit audio is limited in noise shaping ability compared to a multi-bit scheme. It's still inefficient compared to 24-bit 44.1/48k sampling.
Philips put forth a compression scheme for DSD, but I don't know if this was ever implemented.

why this is actually good? whyyy?

Hello can anyone recommend me a DAC? I bought some beyerdynamic 770s and when I listened to them the sound just wasn't what I was hoping for so I thought maybe a DAC would help. Trying to keep things under $100

I would, but lately people keep making threads before the bump limit is even hit

Topping D10

low effort

which one do I plug headphone into? Sorry I am not audophile

Attached: Untitled.png (521x219, 149K)

the red and white one

itoddlers belong on reddit

can't do both

the top right screw hole

DT990 32 ohm, or ATHM50X
Also make me some recommendations for open headphones.

>250 USD
>Georgia USA
>Computer
>Over Ear
>Open (I do like punchy bass, but I've never owned open cans.)
>Over 9000
>Balanced
>ATHM30s, ATHM50s, Sony MDR 7506 (used extensively, never owned.)

are active noise canceling headphones good or just a meme?

dumb nigger educate yourself on basics

red hole is for right cable, white hole is for left cable
it's right fucking there dude

there's only one cable

you're supposed to cut it in half

which headphone?

>people keep making threads before the bump limit is even hit
it's called the prisoner's dilemma and it's why people bitching about the bump limit have down syndrome. you will always lose out to trolls who decide to go first because you are not playing a fair game

...

A DAC unit will not change sound at all. You want an amp. And judging from the rest of your posts that wont help either

oh
you bought a DAC
you want an amplifier

There's no feet in IT

I'm not playing any games

what DAC please.

Just get a cheap fiio if necessary

monoprice liquidspark combo, it's retard-proof

Looking to spend around a hundred usd. What is the go to $99 DAC

>RCA inputs
>retard proof

How is the topping d30?

>liquid spark
hpg is /teamatom/ now boy

I noticed balanced pads make the headphone sound dark.

Gonna try and sleep a little before work. Good night, user.
Wasn't me. I'm glad we have lotsa lovelive fans here these days.

Why is it that most Bluetooth headphones are so small even when they are called over the ear?
I want to replace my shitty Koss ur 20 that I got from best buy for like 23 burgers and all the ones I've tried here are small as fuck and just put pressure on my ears

Functional
Just get a fiio d03k, don't spend more than you need to.

Redpill me on the KZ-ZS10s. I'm coming from Sony MDR-XB50APs and I like the bass but want clearer mids and highs.

audiobudget.com/product/KZ/ZS10
>The new ZS10 model by KZ was received well by KZ fans, but issues were pointed out as well. While maintaining an excellent standard for sound quality, at least once you got used to the intrusive upper-mids, they messed up the design quite a bit. The housings are huge, and the short nozzle alongside a bulge right after it, makes those earphones a difficult fit, despite the fact that a perfect fit is mandatory in order to experience the intended bass response.

KZ are no longer good value for money and they all have glaring flaws (You) want the Revonext QT2 or TRN V80

Are there recommended blutooth IEMs which aren't connected together with a cable which aren't that expensive but sound ok?
(Buying them in the EU, so the model should not only ship from Amazon.com, but I can also order them from China)

>Buy new Berydynamic headphones
>Notice at first, they seem rather quiet
>Have to turn the amp dial on 50%
>Within about 15 minutes listening, notice the headphone goes more sensitive, and a lot louder to where even 20% on the dial is plenty loud now

Do beyer headphones burn in?

no

fresh pads
