thats a good home you kike
i like it
that home would cost probably $700k+ where I'm at, i'd love something like that DESU
looks okay to me?
That one actually looks nice
>this fucking thread again
It's a western thing, same as Canada. Homes across Europe are by far the nicest.
Because half the house is garage. We actually get to enjoy non-cuck automobiles and we also get to avoid niggers on public transit. The price of that is to have kinda ugly houses, I say it’s a fair trade.
I built my own house it could kick that houses ass and didn't cost me a dime.
Our homes are our castles.
They are nice on the inside, usually. And some of them have basements which are cozy. I used to live in Canada.
Oh its looks great.. until you realize the entire fucking neighborhood is like a NPC colony of duplicate lives - with the exact same house just different paint color. Fuck that, I dont want neighbors.
The nice homes in Europe are jawdropping, but most of the peasants there live in cucksheds that would be considered nigger tier in America. Housing for the average plebe in America is a million times better than for the average European plebe.
America and Canada are relatively new nations. You can see remnants of European style in areas where it's history goes back to the founding, you don't see it now though because it's too expensive. Europe's buildings were built in a time where it wasn't so much money, and still look at how much houses cost there. Our housed may not look all that aesthetic and they may are look similar, but it allows businesses to make them for cheap to stay in business, and it allows even the lower middle class to buy some pretty sizable homes.
You mean churches with an ugly desert lawn.
Appreciate what you have, nigger. We have to have barbed wire and motion cameras just to get insurance.
America is only a couple of decades away from that.
Cost.
A cookie cutter nuclear family house costs $500-800k in places of relevance. In the States if you add a fancy designer to the mix it costs over a million easily.
People have decided they would prefer a bland house and a few 100k in their pocket rather than an atypical house.
We are quickly escaping the nig menace through driving, it's also abundantly clear that the npc horde prefer public transit to the scary individualism of stearing your own vehical
That house is probably nicer than anything you could ever move into in Europe. I dare you to find me a European house for non-millionaires with even half the space and same amenities.
Affordable > inspiring
We can’t all live in frank lloyd wright productions
Burger house I installed some cabinet crown molding in today, was pretty nice really.
I'm a general contractor.
>an architectural reject of a house
>good home
My crown job.
Check out the average Australian home. It makes the American home look beautiful
Fucks sake, I get it, housing prices are fucked. What is the proposed solution though? Sure, you can buy a parcel of land in some desert for under $1000, but then you have to contend with local zoning and code enforcement. It's not fair, but what can you do?
I'd love to have a nice house like that here. Most people here live in apartments
Show me the house you live in.
that is an above average home for most americans
That's actuallky a pretty good looking hous3
not mine but a generic looking house here
that's some fine craftsmanship
Thank you, my friend framed it.
Feels pretty redpilled to know how to build stuff.
I installed all the trim as a favor hes behind schedule
Depends what state, for me personally I love old historical type houses. Anything southern plantation styled, Virginian styled (neo classical), mission styled is awfully pretty. Pic related is a nice house. I'm a realtor so my taste in architecture changes a lot.
what the fuck does that have to do with anything? OPs pic is literally the realisation of a house that had anarchitect with both Down's syndrome and cerebral palsy. And he had a seizure while doing it.
we don't have stupidly architectured (or not architectured at all) houses in Europe, since it's illegal in most places (dunno about Moldova).
you not knowing that architecture is a thing is not an argument, retarded yank
colors throw me off a bit, but solid shit bro
Where did you learn this????
Could you post a single family residential home that fits your taste?
Id be curious I feel pretty close minded with architecture because all ive seen is craftsman.
Nice motel room
Where is the Wi-Fi machine?
Apartment dwelling kidult detected
All of these look better than the ugly brick crap they're shitting out for newer neighbors. All the houses look exactly like this with very small variations and the only way to tell them apart is by the street number. You'd probably get in trouble with the neighborhood committee if you decided to paint the brick just to make it not so samey. It's shit.
Literal NPC houses.
*neighborhoods, not neighbors
how is that uninspring? what does this have to do with politics?
Honestly I bought a house about 5 years ago and just youtubed everything amd read blogs.
I flipped the home and have flipped 8 since then along with starting my own contracting company.
I'm 32yrs old so started late in the game but there are some great carpentry channels on YouTube that can show you way more than a local guy that's done it his whole life. I wish it wasnt that way but I know very few guys that have better tricks from experience than the guys on the net
DFW Crown is a good channel for learning trim.
Also did you go to generals contractors school? Was it eexpensive? Was it hard and was it book work or actual hands on kind of thing?
>1 post by this id
Ah ok. Because you make some pretty great stuff! Haha I'd love to tinker with some houses and learn to diy things.
No schooling just figured it out as I said with searching online and hands on experience.
I am licensed and bonded but any retard can get those set up for about $2500
Cool you live in a hallway
>castle
>made of drywall and cardboard
I think it looks great.
Fuck off hipster faggot.
>this is shit
>can you post an example of something that isn't shit?
>what the fuck does that have to do with anything?
>I used to live in Canada.
A fate worse than death, but you need to go back.
I like drywall in houses. Easy to change interior walls or add electrical.
Easy to change paint colors or install trim and wall coverings.
I guess if you knew you wanted the same look forever a true castle would be cool I just get bored of a house after a few years.
Nice work user.
Thank you
I'm hitting the sack, take care bros.
That fits my taste? Or something that had a qualified architect do the design? The former requires the latter, but the opposite is not true.
Pic related - not to my tastes at all, but leaps and bounds above a fucking mcmansion
lol you can't even fucking read right
Irrelevant. Funny you have to resort to acting like a retard because you have no arguments against truth.
Oh ok nice. I'm a realtor, I want to learn to do stuff like this to make my business better. Either way it's a great skill you have user
Is this a slide thread?
don't have to drive a racecar to know that a Ferrari is faster than a Moskvich
This makes me angry
looks utterly rubbish compared to where I live.
what the literal fuck is the point of insurance anyways? who the fuck needs insurance? isnt that just a waste of money and basically signing up to pay for other peoples shit?
Look at this superior european housing. Isnt it so much more beautiful? Doesn't it inspire you?
depends
>posting actual buildings in mcmansion threads
I thought it was la for a moment
>literally lives in a closet in a brick wall
>doesn't own any land
>no front yard or backyard
Pathetic.
Father is a GC, been working with his company since I was 14. Feels good knowing people are willing to pay me to do the simplest of things to fix up around their house.
space is fairly limited and front yards are rare here in general.. However most properties do have back yards..
t. never owned even a condo
This. In European cities you’re either living in a 200 year old townhouse or a commie block tower.
Is that a house or an apartment?
>american can't comprehend aesthetics
why am I not surprised?
Do you recommend gc school?
Favela.
>you don't understand the aesthetics of my 600' apartment lol
because there fat
>calls well-made american multi-roomed house a shitty mcmansion
>posts a shittier triangle mcnugget
fucking europoors
((money spent on insurance)-(what the insurance company takes))
I guess since you weigh like 300 kilos with all that grotesque lard in your body you'd want a shitload of space
this house is for sale here... it was build in 1895 and cost 650K
If your cabin doesn't have a grass roof it's not a real cabin
>700k for glorified treehouse
Glow in the dark
>architectural illiterate thinks mcmansions are well built
my sides are in another dimension
oh like what they have on average europe is any better. at least americans have more space
Or, we outgrow dorm-sized accommodations and enjoy having a garden, garage for the car, kids get their own rooms, home office, etc. But nah you're right, if we were thinner we'd def all live in efficiency apartments.
>not living in a 3 story Georgian house in a wealthy white suburb
Danish houses look as flat as a trailerpark
I live in a cardboard box but at least I have 20 acres. About 14 of them are useable too. It’s give and take. I’d love something more fancy but I have enough land to grow my own food and meat. Pretty nice.
way fucking better
your houses can be torn down by sneezing
>another fallacy
too bad you can't make a house with all that that also looks good, because you're american.
yeah modern Danish architecture is absolute ass
That's hilarious dude. We've got plenty of those pitched metal roof houses that look exactly like that leftover from the 1970s. Poor people live in them to this day.
yeah I know USA used to employ architects back then
It is because the majority of American cuckstruction uses twigs with cotton candy in the walls.
Behold the final form of architecture. Grass on roof.
