Nice!
Only government agents use uTorrent.

stalled

Nice meme reply.

they should offer an upgrade path that doesn't involve me downloading a setup executable

>GUI

>divide-by-zero crash
HAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
HAHAHAHAAAAHAHAHAHAH
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA

sudo zypper dup

>Use qbittorrent to download video games
>It stalls
>Install utorrent
>Speed is much faster and doesn't stall
>Completely free and not autistic
>No reason to use qstalled

>Best torrent downloader
>Biggest complaint people have is that it actually tells you when it's stalled instead of pretending to download like many other downloaders
I think this shows how great it is

What's the difference between this and deluge?

>>pretending to download like many other downloaders
personally never happened to me, stalling instead happens every single time I try to download something with qBittorrent

I only ever see it say "stalled" right when I add a torrent (before it has connected) and even then very briefly and then when there aren't any seeders

>What's the difference between this and deluge?
qbittorrent can't in anonymous

>What's the difference between this and deluge?
deluge is slow and python based

What? It has anonymous mode, can be binded to tun and can use a SOCKS-proxy, what more do you want?

>BUGFIX: Improve force recheck of paused torrent (glassez)
>BUGFIX: Restore torrent in two steps (glassez)

where can I get the details on these? Where is the readme? The forums are pretty clean.

I'm asking because I wish I could tell qbit to autosearch subfolders when you "set location", I have tons of shit on my computer that I can seed and I want an option to tell the .torrent file to "look in C:" or "X:/toplevelfolder"

How I do it now is have a windows search folder open, and I manually point each .torrent to the new location. With shitty naming conventions and 400+ torrents this becomes quite cumbersome.

$ make -$(nproc) && sudo checkinstall

slow how? whenever i download something it takes almost 100% of my net

>slow how?
the UI is slow to start up and respond

cup qbittorrent -y

You faggots are so fucking dumb and it's been like 3 years since I've seen someone post the solution if it stalls. Right click on your torrents and select "Force Download." This works 100% unless you're out of space or your tracker is fucked.

>not using biglybt and be bigly

So besides the new things what functionality does this new version break? Every time I upgrade this piece of shit something goes wrong and I have to downgrade.

nothing user, this version is finally perfect

Honestly they should just stop supporting windows. I've used it for years on multiple machines and never experienced the stalled meme or had problems with the speed. Meanwhile they half-ass the windows version by doing things like , giving the client a bad name.

Just used it now. Seems fine.

rTorrent is out, remove your botnet

>b-but layers of abstraction

>using autismtorrent

Is it on Arch already?

no its already outdated by arch standards

Has anybody else the bug where the program window reopens on lower position each time?

>300Mbps connection
>downloading a 10GB movie @ 9mb/s
>suddenly drops to 3kb
>think my ISP is fucking with me so I download a nord VPN with 7 days trial
>restart the qbittorrent client after connecting to Luxembourg IP, try different countries
>still stuck at 3kb
inb4 "nord VPN sucks!"

nord VPN is literally a botnet

doesn't explain the 3kb download does it? tried different vpns all same.

has anyone else qbittorrent been freezing up on them and creating zombie processes?

I literally never had this problem. 1000+ torrents and the only stalled torrents are the literally dead ones that I added and forgot about. Wish someone'd reseed that shit

No

>using a vpn

Yes

Thank you mang, updating right now.

This shit made me discover chocolatey, loving it.

Chocolately sucks

ok

>you want to switch to qbittorrans
>add ~1k torrans on it, start recheck
>hdd screams in agony as every single torrans start checking simultaneously
no qbittorrans 4 me no sir

That's why I never use division in my code.

>install deluge
>it just werks
>download some movies in 5 minutes
>immediately remove the torrents upon completion to avoid seeding
>close deluge just to be sure
>watch movies
>delete movies
>repeat the following day

>hdd screams in agony as every single torrans start checking simultaneously
even if all of them need re-checked, it only does a one or two at a time

This. I've installed qbittorrent on various OSs and hardware and never had this problem

>install qbittorrwnt
>it just werks
>open the "search" tab
>search for a movie
>sort by seeds, and choose the best
>download the movie in 5 minutes
>immediately remove the torrent upon completion to avoid seeding
>close qbittorrent just to be sure
>watch movies
>delete movies
>repeat the following day

>add movie filter to rss feed
>automatically downloads 1st 1080p release and stops seeding when complete
wtf are you guys doing

>using deluge when transmission exists.
Deluge is just a low quality meme for kiddies who want µtorrent's UI with the illusion of being light, but being made in pajeethon makes it even slower than qbittorrent, while transmission is the best lightweight GUI torrent client.

>Watching yify low rez movies
I am doing good, can't say the same about you tho

my rss feed is not a public one lol

>while transmission is the best lightweight GUI torrent client.
this

why does it want to recheck over 1k torrents all at once?
ze hdd it screams in agony because all the random reads millions in the millions skkrt skrrt

2.2.1 still better than any freedumb clients other than rtorrent

unless you're mexican or south east asian

honestly tried really hard to like it but I never got it to work correctly

STALLED

Same, it always shat the bed here.

Stalled

>recheck over 1k torrents all at once?
Who the fuck thought this was a good idea?

Attached: 1509406476415.jpg (799x685, 160K)

dumbass found

Funnily enough this was only an issue on the windows version

>2.2.1 still better than any freedumb clients other than rtorrent
nope

yep, he's right.

Not since the webui exploit and win10 incompatibilities and poor https tracker support.

2.2.1 never had the webui exploit.
Works on my machine.
The only private tracker I use it with has been using https for the longest time.

is there actually people that exist that don't use transmission?

I doubt this is faster than rtorrent.

why would it be? it has a gui.

transmission is very good but some people hate the gui

wat

I don't know why, but I still prefer the old, pre-botnet utorrent over qbittorrent. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you have a good rational explanation why I should switch.

you can stay there
