Harassment from obvious fake IG / twitter account. Wondering if there’s a way to find real identity and location of said user as I have a sneaking suspicion it’s someone I know and every time I block them they pop up with a new fake acct. I’m not tech savvy whatsoever ~ wondering if this is possible. Thanks in advance

difficult to do. anyway, you could denounce it to the police.
you could, say, tell the harasser to send you an email with a MS Office file attached to it. that way you can get more info from his computer. the email may or may not have an IP, and the metadata in the MS word/excel/... file contains an "author" field that can give you some clues

Was it random? Have multiple accounts contacted you at once? What's your gut feeling about why this is happening?
Try a bit of social engineering, ask seemingly innocuous questions to gain more information on the target.
Can you shift the conversation out of IG -- Get their email address? Phone?
Play along a bit. Like other anons said, the more information you offer, the better. NYPA and all that, but you need to be smart; either go all in or all out.

Probably. If you were smart you could set up a webpage with facebook integration (and hope they're logged in) and try to do something with it to figure out who they are. Like hey baby check out these sexy pics of my ass on my website ;) But you're probably not technical enough to do it.
