True, you would need to spend $500 or so for a PC that can comfortably run modern titles at max settings 60 FPS. However, with a console, you can't do any work or content consumption outside playing games. You would need to spend more on a laptop or cheap PC to fulfil those needs, making the total cost higher than a single powerful PC. But you're probably 12, so not like that matters to you.

Consoles aren't plug and play anymore. Most modern consoles have about as much set up and troubleshooting as PCs. And this is without the freedom a PC has.

Consoles really do provide excellent value and make a lot of sense. Ignore the cost of games, which really is huge, and look at the system you get: The price of a mid-range graphics card gives you a complete fully usable gaming-system. You can build a computer which is much better than a console but you'll have to start buy paying twice the cost of a console for a high-end graphics card.

I've never actually owned a console so I can't speak to the "experience" of having one. I have bought some for my nephews so I know what they cost and it really ain't much compared to a decent computer.

Yeah, and camera on controller still sucks.
I've immediately changed it to "mouse" in Steam Controller's settings and had proper snappy aiming.

One problem was with "arcade" twin-stick segments, but I mapped a modifies onto r3, so I can switch between stick and mouse.

Additionally, I always map precise aiming to the gyroscope. Helps a lot with sniping segments in Skyrim, for example.
