you should see the anime stickers autists put on their thinkpads

We do, everyday.

Ah yes, nothing tells me you are a privacy and security expert like putting a Tor, C++ and Arch Linux sticker on your Dell laptop. Practically SCREAMING "HEY EVERYONE, COME ASK ME ABOUT EVERYTHING I DO ON THE INTERNET! YOU SEE ME? YEAH ME ME ME I USE TOR COME GET AN AUTOMATIC SEARCH WARRANT FOR ME!! ! DxD ebin HACK#R desu"

I actually got banned from chatting on that channel earlier. The girl on the left has the title of "Sr. Developer Advocate" and when I asked what that title means I got banned.

The guy on the right looks a lot like le Brevik face

NANI?

literally just finished putting an asuka sticker on my x240

the amount of stickers correlates with the amount of onions consumed per day

Holy shit. Does everyone at this fucking company load their laptops up with autistic stickers?

Attached: more_stickers.png (1296x820, 1.33M)

They were probably told to do it by the marketing or something

Horrifying if true

Attached: IcyEminentEmperorpenguin-poster.jpg (854x480, 30K)

well there are some developers right there
how much proofs do you need?

Attached: show proofs.jpg (576x463, 41K)

Same mental disorder than brand fanatics.

Doubt it, people are masochists, especially in brainwashing factories like amazon.

The state of California's impact on the tech industry.

>cover laptop in foss and weebshitter stickers
>look like le ebin l33t haXX0r
>use win10 home edition
u can suck it hard tbqh my dudes.

Only conference attention whores: they spend most of their life going from conference to conference giving useless self-promoting talks. They accumulate stickers because stickers are given out at conferences like candy. Last year at Fosdem somebody handed me a women who go sticker as if he was handing me used toilet paper. I threw it in the trash later on.

Every sticker adds 100 Mhz, ask /o/.

Devs are nerds. It's not a social statement, they say "oh hey, I use that, hahahah" and put the sticker on there without thinking about it.

>macbook dongle
LMAO. Never gets old.

You only look like an autistic virgin you know

Identity politics is like that.

>ITT Jow Forums gets all of it's information about Silicon Valley culture from videos of paid promoters of Silicon Valley companies.
I'll go from left to right:
1. Typical developer with a company laptop. Often they attend a conference once per year, and go to several local meetups. It's badge-hunting with a bit of sensibility.
2. Company Laptop + Conference whore. Gotta collect 'em all! There isn't a sticker they won't put on their laptop, which is why they usually have Company Stickers rather than Tech stickers. 9 out of 10 of these laptops belong to marketing. Contrast with #1. However, they would NEVER do this to their home computer.
3. Developer's personal machine. VERY discriminant about what stickers are allowed, and as such is much more interested at subtle signalling of his fellow nerds. May sometimes create stickers of their own.

What is that qts name?

Attached: 1466215219884.jpg (700x700, 305K)

I have politics and weed stickers on mine

Company cumbucket

Only fine and accepted stickers are ones you got at events you attended with that machine.

>Sr. Developer Advocate
What does it mean?

cd code
cd ..
cd ..
cd ..
cd

It's like how Google has real dev jobs and diversity dev jobs.

Made up dick sucking title

Stickers also helps against theft (not by much but every little bit helps). I know instantly which laptop is mine.

They do
and they think linux has no GUI
youtube.com/watch?v=C5lO-_G-on8

They all share like 80% of the same stickers so this is probably true.

The laptop of the dude on the right looks see through lol

Pic?

Probably, otherwise they would get chewed up by management like that scene in office space about flair.

my laptop is scratched as hell due to using a mouse just a bit under the keyboard and putting it a lot of times in by back+it's a grayish laptop. Still survived and I'm using it to type this. stickers are something i simply don't want on this machine.

>Too retarded to use Linux
>Too retarded to use alpha channels
Figs.

She advocates for developers from a position of seniority.
She's like an oldfag who keeps it real but in a corporate sense. But she's young as fuck so it's weird.

/cuteillyasticker/ bros ww@

Yes, they do.

>attend Dev con
>get free stickers
>put them on laptop

Most devs don't go out of their way to do it, but hey smoke em if you got em

Attached: dog_smile.gif (240x320, 1.67M)

>developers

Developers work in offices
Those are PR crew, they might pose as developers but they never touch a single line of production code.

So basically she spends her entire career justifying her paycheck.

Sounds like a comfy way to live, but only if you can secure your next job by blowing the hiring manager.

What titles do the other two have?

Söy specialist

Only the ones with imposter syndrome

>Do developers really put this many fucking stickers on their laptops?
Anything to distract from the dreary industrial design.

>dreary
They literally buy abandoned warehouses and put up a bare minimum of drywall to make it seem usable as office space.

They are tools not toys.

You're so fucking stupid, Yuuko.

Only the dumb ones do. Smart and cute programmers only need 3. UwU

so basically you vape and also crossdress in your free time and keep your gay relationships from your parents

That's a completely legitimate question, but they probably branded you a literal Nazi just because you were curious about what a developer advocate does.

>That extended battery
Respect, user. Be careful though

I dont drive that kinda of subaru. I do cross dress for bois tho. And I bring them home too :3 mom and pop dont gib a fuk about me likin boys so not a problem.

Actual developers don't use laptops.

>3
one is more than enough

Attached: illya.jpg (489x403, 79K)

what is the point of putting stickers on cool laptops? Why do gay guys always want to show the world how proud they are of being gay?

I would ask you which dildo is your favorite if I ever saw this in public - unless you're really ugly.

but being gay is liking men
i like qt 2d girls
3dpds a shite

>where have you bought this

I NEED TO KNOW

>She advocates for developers from a position of seniority.

So basically a go-between that bridges the gap between the developers and company management?

Jow Forums sperg too afraid of expressing themselves in public.

:3 ill try not to uwu. I have a king sized bed so space isnt a problem, all though half of it is stuffed animals.
x3 not when its that big. I use little ones to = up to your big one.
I like em cuz I can go to lugs and other sec stuff and ppl already know what im using. And in the case of the bd its just personalization.
Im average looking I guess but I dont look very gay out side of my house. I usually have a comp sci related tie on and Khakis with a button up shirt. I plan on moving over to black geans and a navy blue pull over sweater with a choker and beanie. I want to look more approachable to guys uwu.

You'll be notified if there's anything we think you need to know.
This for me desu.

Attached: EdmundDuke_SC1_HeadAnim1.gif (60x56, 51K)

Not even feminine looking at least? Shame. That's other people's thing.

But yes, how you dress and carry yourself (posture, grooming, hygiene, etc) is going to be the two main things that make you more approachable.

my qt geek gf works for an AWS dependant company, I think AWS is the problem. Her boss DEMANDS that she puts all those stupid stickers they hand out (by the thosands) at conventions. They also gave her a particular laptop to do so (fagbook air).
It's all marketing by the amazon fucks. Just look at the OP's pic. Most of those are AWS shit.

Attached: kim_jong_un.jpg (640x360, 34K)

my face and butt area is femmy ig I wouldnt say that makes me look hot. And I keep my self noice and clean. Its just that I look super straight with how I dressed b4. Pic related is what Im going for.

Attached: 1471694131601-3.jpg (640x640, 41K)

You sound adorable and I want to be in your bed no homo BUT the fact that you wear a tie is upsetting.
Way to submit to vapid inertial normie culture, user.

Attached: anime pensive chin on bed.png (294x225, 55K)

made it myself

They are like trophies from events, conferences, clients and hackathons. My work laptop is completely covered with stickers. But amateurs going to their first Kode With Klossy events with stickers are posers.

Fuck, I mean to link I apologize.

Attached: owo teleconference.jpg (500x352, 67K)

Sexist and nazipilled to ask woman what she actually does for living.

Aww the ties one techy. And ob there way out of my style like I said in mainly cuz I look too normal for my own liking.

Attached: 20181127_175733_HDR~2.jpg (3676x2620, 2.33M)

My work laptop is mostly covered with brewery stickers or stickers from hobbies. I only have 1 tech sticker, Docker, which I actually regret.

When I see a tie, my dick instantly inverts. Like a dog's. It hides in a *sheath*. And I can't stand to even wear dress shirts unless they're of a thicker, denimy material.
I don't know what's wrong with me, but something about business casual attire makes me cringe hard.
You're a brave person, user.

I hate when Jow Forums makes me fap

lmao

and yet you care why exactly?
It's their property, they can do whatever the fuck they please with their shit their own money paid for.

You set em straight, user.
Fuck opinions amirite XD

post face and censor out the top half
prove you are cute

Cniles get the bullet too

Attached: m273221.jpg (2304x3072, 3.89M)

Ye its starting to do that to me as well wich is why im moving over to the comfy and cozy beanie and choker lyfe. I even have the hair for it, ive been growing it out and im prob going to beech my bangs.
Go back to im not gonna get b& to prove my self. When I do my make over tho ill make a pic with my x200. Be on the loon out foe that in /tpg/

>posting a pic of your face on a blue board is now banable
im thinking i dont need to see your face, seeing as how you are probably retarded

Attached: 1537367315407.jpg (370x388, 35K)

Imagine being this concerned about appearance.
Not enough coding.

Attached: peridot1.png (796x796, 387K)

Better than webdev flavor of the month corporate hegemonist shitbag signalling.
Fuck Amazon. Fuck those people.

So... maybe is time for me to stop using "uwu", i dont want people to think i crossdress.

You'r going to get rectal cancer shoving that shit up your ass, and if that key is to anything other than WRX you are doing it wrong.

Judging from the placement of the audio jack, then what he is using is a 13 inch MacBook Pro.

Alcohol will fuck you up well before that, and the sweetie is clearly sauced judging by the typos.

Attached: anime tense thinkpad.png (1920x1080, 1.47M)

Its weird tho but you oh so badly one a pic here.

Attached: 20181127_182515_HDR.jpg (2560x1440, 952K)

Get off my board you faggot. I don't want to hear about your mental illness which makes you attracted to the wrong gender.

But it is a social statement. Because as soon as any two devs who did this see each other with their laptops in public, they will IMMEDIATELY judge each other based on how many software stickers they've got. And they'll know this is happening, so they'll from then on be trying to pack as many stickers on as they can for their dick waving contest. Even if it means they put a sticker on for something they've only used or tired once, a sticker is a sticker and that's one more sticker than before. Then it moves down. New CS students see these guys with all the stickers, and they know the score, so they try even harder to use as many things as they can, because they know their peers saw the same thing, and so will some of their interviewers.

The importance of the sticker collection varies from person to person of course but it never is of zero importance.

Its a WRX just not a STI. Tbh I want a BRZ tho.
