by the end of every decade, the last 3 decades, intel tries to enter the discrete gpu market.
They failed with xeon phi and abandoned it, trying to compete with powerxcell.
let's see how hard they will fail this third time.
Is it going to make them go bankrupt, or they are going to recover?

ahahah, this puts another nail in the "dead novidia technologies" coffin.
now every inteltard is going to shill freesync, for free.

>xeon phi
What? It was a product for multicore hpc like scientific shit. It competed with NVIDIA's Tesla.

>12~14+++++++++++++++++++++nm after 20 years of nonexistence on the market
What can possibly go right?

Larrabee was supposed to be a GPU.
22nm Knights Corner still had TMUs, even.

>*secretly and silently puts NSA backdoors and severe security holes in your gaymen and vidya*
>Kvetch, nothing personal, goyim. Buy our first, in 20 years of nonexistence on the market, 14+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++nm GPU for very low price of just 999.99$, clearly we are absolute experts at making video cards (look how great out integrated GPUs are doing)

you realize intel is literally 300x larger than nvidia and like 500x larger than amd.

only reason intel failed in the past is they had half canned projects because they could use their engineers to focus on cpus instead and earn more money.

this time they have poched top AMD staff over last 4years and are doing it because servers are switching to GPU based.

they going to blow it out of the park not only AMD should be worried.

intel will literally release a gpu faster than a 2080ti for like 400$ just you wait and see.

Poo in the loo, Injeet.

NONONONONO JUST BUY IT

This. Watch as they unveil a GPU for phones or laptops, and nothing more.
Not even Intel would be able to come up with dedicated GPUs with gaming performance matching what Nvidia and AMD have on such short development period. 99.9% sure it's not for desktop.

They literally told you they're targeting dGPU gaming.

Where? The only thing they've shown so far is the shitty "SET OUR GRAPHICS FREE" trailer-esque video. Nothing else, as far as I know, but unconfirmed rumors. That doesn't say anything about what they're doing.
And even then, if they do target desktop gaming performances, it's probably going to start off with really low end shit for office job computers. Not even with all the money of Intel can they pull so close to AMD/Nvidia performances in such short notice, it's simply unrealistic.

You realize Intel is in its final years and they stuck themselves in a technological dead end despite being 500 times bigger than AyyMD

Think of all the driver issues Nvidia and AMD have every generation and with every new game.
Add all of those up. That is what Intel is going to be dealing with for quite a while. I doubt the first gen will be competitive even if the silicon is great but possibly 2nd and probably 3rd.
