After a while that computer broke I forget why. I ended up using a family computer for a bit until they found my porn history then I used a hacked Wii, 3ds, and old smart phone for a year until I got my laptop. Now I just use windows for games but kinda want to do Linux on a different machine.

Gentoo, i like setting which USE flags I want and I prefer OpenRC over SystemD. Also, once you compile the kernel yourself, you cant ever go back to just installing the binary.

Various servers in my lab running centos. Desktop is Fedora. We only have Windows/Redhat at work so why bother learning anything else

My company provided me with a Mac. 75% of my job is writing automation for Windows servers. I do most of my work either on remote Windows server VMs or Windows Server VMs in virtual box. I then copy and paste my work from the VM to my Mac, save it, and push it to git. This is unobjectivly the best way to us any *nix OS.

I had debian for a bit on my school laptop but this semester required lots of windows only software so I installed that on my 120gb ssd. once the semester finishes im getting a larger drive and dual booting. most likely debian/ubuntu or fedora

Use debian and have a Windows VM for any specials cases that come up. Always assumed it's just common sense to use this setup.

Debian Testing. It's fairly up to date, and generally works out of the box so long as you stick to a major DE.

PCLinuxOS. Just works very well out of the box. I have an i5 box ready to replace it but been lazy.
