god that feels good. just hit my max bench of 200 a few days ago. im exicted to go far beyond that along with everything else

I hate to sound condescending, but did you guys have any hobbies before hitting the gym? I used to lift with my friends, then after a year just got tired of it. Never got the thrill others seem to get.

Okay, it just seems like a lot of people on Jow Forums who speak of the merits of lifting had nothing before, which would make sense why the sense of accomplishment from going up in weight is so fun for them.
