>obscure as fuck bug caused by your setup and obscure as fuck software
>Try to Google for a solution with the most normie terms to broad search results
>Land on a 2007 forum that looks like it was made in PHP 4.4
>People actually discussing the very same issue you have.
>Furiously scrolling through the 2 pages and 14 posts
>"I pm'ed you the solution, check your inbox"
>"Amazing l, it worked. Thank you very much"
>"You're welcome"

>ITT: hell

Why do people send the solution like they are some kind of secret organization instead of posting it?

>Obscure bug
>"fixed in kernel 2.19"
>this is caused by an improperly configured xorg.conf
>your distro has no xorg.conf

>something wrong with windows
>check microsoft support
>"Question answered"
>top answer is fucking pajeet tech support with scripted bullshit

also

>"I found these registry hacks on another site I don't know what they do but it worked for me!"

A while ago I found a Tom's post on how to enable audio and gpu drivers in Safe Mode + Networking via regedit. I haven't been able to find it since.

Thanks for your input :)

[extremely nasal German] You should have read the FAQ and used the search function before you opened a thread. I'm closing yours, and throwing you off of our forum for not doing so.

>reinstalling the os did it

>searching for some stupid error
>somehow end up in some Microsoft forum
>guy with bricked laptop, can't even boot Windows installer
>pajeet tells him to boot in safe mode
>pajeet tells him to make a recovery disk
>pajeet tells him to install antivirus
>pajeet locks the thread and marks it as solved

DON'T POST THIS!!!

>How do i change font in Word?
>nm, reinstalled Windows

Two reasons
One: the fix breaks the rules.
Two, also the most likely one: they want internet points. They want people to need them

>find a solution for your specific hardware issue
>"here's a step-by-step image tutorial"
>it's all on imageshack or some other dead hosting service

I wouldn't be surprised if we've been there for years and just don't know it yet

>need to print something on someone else's PC
>have to dig through dozens of "Copy of Copy of New Document(17)(1).doc" to find the thing they need to print

God fucking damn, every once in a while I have to wade through that hell.
A few of the threads I've seen had the OP call out the pajeets who were posting their stupid scripts over and over, and ended with OP solving his own problem.

>Please don't necro threads. Thread locked.
>Please use the search function before making a mew thread.

>making browser extension
>just werks in chrome
>test in firefox but extension popup doesnt work
>search for hours on google
>find a single bug report on mozilla
>3years ago
>university student asking to be let in charge of bug
>its marked as closed and fixed
>obviously not fixed since extension popup doesnt work
>mess around with code for some more hours
>put height: auto; on popup css cuz im tired of having tried everything
>mfw it fixes it
fuck forcucks desu

This thread gave me anxiety.
