Don't listen to him. I can't stand when there's big news and it gets pruned into one nice a neat thread.

3990WWX

3600x for sure
amd selling what basically is a 9900k for a third of the price. bet you could take it to 5-5.3ghz too

>big news

Are you mentally retarded or just a fucking idiot?

I haven't bought a processor in 6 years.

I haven't bought a processor in 15 years. Suck my dick, faggot.

>3850X

Go big or go home, I only upgrade my CPU/Mobo/RAM every 5 years and this should just about do it.

>3850X 500$
>X570 mobo 250$
>32GB 3200Mhz RAM 250$

Should be set, I already have a 1080 Ti

>3300g: 6c + 15cu
>3.0GHz
nani
that can't be right

3600 looks great value.

Going from a 7700K I might go for broke and get than anniversary edition.

The Ryzen 9s will most likely not be supported on older boards and will require a new B550 or X570 board. 12 cores is probably the max for AM4.

What are you basing that on?

Power usage.

So threadripper no more? Is it going to be 20core/40 threads?

I think I might actually die laughing if these turn out to be real.

For me, it's the 3700

3700x
Don't want to buy another mobo for the 3850X

just built a 2700x system in July and sadly my slave-wages won't let me upgrade my cpu for a few years, but maybe upgrade my 290x for a 3080 if i can get it at close to retail prices.
