The system has been blown open, there are several toolchains for using various libs (SDL2, OpenGL but also cURL etc), along with all of the Switch's internal system calls, ie you can interface with the hardware from userland.

Now the killer question: Can I actually find out how to do that without browsing across thirty different sites (ten of which are dead) while following guides of questionable quality written for older software versions by people who despise writing?
I don't expect something on the level of that 3DS guide, but I've seen some really shitty information over the years when it comes to these things.
And no, I don't expect spoonfeeding. I'll be searching for that info anyway, but I always appreciate a pointer.
