How is it not better? Not everyone is an architect or an audio producer, and if you need that software it's better to dual boot with Windows 7 rather than 10.

while 99% of things normies and techies do on a computer can be accomplished on linux the 1% you can't do make me want to just stay in windows.

I dual boot elementary and windows 7 btw. windows 7 gets 99.9% of the run-time. same thing happened with my last pc as well.

I love linux and the idea behind it. the sad fact though is windows is just convenient and as fast and has more software.

if tomorrow a comparable version of Photoshop came out along with a comparable version of albeton or protools or even fruity loops I would run linux as my main. no doubt.

I do. It just works. Every week there's news about Windows 10 shitting the dumpster again. My Windows 7 install has been rock stable for >5 years.

Aero sucks ass. Classic theme sucks less, but the damn inconsistency in the theme makes it still suck.

Poor support for new hardware. Windows 10 is fucking dreadful but there isn't much i can do about the lack of support.
