Microsoft does not distribute free versions but you can compile one yourself or get one that someone else compiled.
>Using VSCode
Use Emacs
Hey stop making this stupid thread everyday, IntelliJ's autocompletion is still miles above this garbage.

Because I'd rather suggestions only appear when I've typed a few characters of a long identifier and there's only a few possible matches, and normal autocomplete without deep learning does a fine job of that.
I already have TabNine for vim.

I use vscode but it doesn't mean jack shit about AI assisting my coding.
Also... I write code. I don't "DO CODE" herp derp.
There is still no reason to pay for any of this garbage.
>type out a word

This is called auto-complete and it's been around for decades. Which part am I supposed to be impressed by exactly? You're using a typed language. Of course it's going to know what can go after the dot. At least MSVS has code snippets and IntelliJ Idea has real-time code analysis.
>my job is to press out all the buttons, cutting corners by selecting all the buttons with one button is cheating
Whatever you say, Stanley.
What icon theme you using my Jow Forumsentooman?
