You're missing the point. Having to turn your phone over to use the front camera is a bad user experience. That's why most companies are avoiding it. They know a large portion of their users use the front camera regularly and having to turn the phone over every time is an inconvenience that can grow into a major issue over time. If your products are perceived as more difficult to use that will hurt your reputation.

Why do phones have notches instead of sidebars now? Why is the entire front of the phone a screen? For what purpose?
