yes. how did you do it?
good job son, in your afterlife you ll be in even
now post from it
Is this obsolete tech thread?
It won't load boards. Only the front page.
Old ass PSP modder here, you can actually run the java version of Opera Mini 4 using PSPKVM and probably post on Jow Forums from it. I used to use it a few years back for twitter and youtube before I had a good smartphone.
I can't do it myself because the PSP doesn't support my routers encryption and my phone can't hotspot without a password.
The battery died. I'll try that tonight when I get back.

BOOST MOBILE WHERE YOU AT?
Good job
You're probably to young to recognize Opera Mini
Install Opera Mini you dumb fuck
Well shit, I just got rid of my PSP, could have flexed mad tech skills right here
Fucking phone poster
Oh hi
This posts deserves an upvote! Does else want a bottle of Onions from the cafeteria?
nice m8
I could post from my vitas stock browser.
Take a picture of my post on that computer
Is it actually running a browser or just a terminal display
how?
he is the one
It's connected to my modern network using an 8-bit Ethernet card and a twisted pair MAU and using TCP/IP via mTCP ( brutman.com
So it's kind of a dumb terminal, but a bit smarter.
Neat
>8-bit Ethernet card
is that an old type of ethernet connection?
>twisted pair MAU
what are those?
Why not look it up yourself?
This is an 8-bit Ethernet card. The 8-bit refers to the bus it uses to connect to the computer (later retroactively called 8-bit ISA).
It only has a coax (10Base2) and AUI (originally for a 10Base5 MAU) connectors.
The MAU is a Medium Attachment Unit, it connects to the AUI connector, which is a medium-agnostic interfaced used in old cards because there wasn't a standard transport medium for Ethernet back then.
In my case, the twisted pair MAU converts the AUI into a "modern" (10Base-T) Ethernet connection, which I can plug right into a Gigabit switch.
by asking you i'm looking it up myself, it's the same as asking google no?
Now this is technolo/g/y
Not really. If you ask here, some user will have to explain it by himself, and it might be a bother. I usually don't mind because I'm a neet and I have all the time in the world, but it's part of the "netiquette" of Jow Forums(nel) not to spoonfeed people, so next time try lookong it up and only asking if you couldn't find the answer.
Here's a twisted pair MAU. Not the one I'm using, mind you, because this one isn't compatible with really old cards like mine because of some small signalling differences.
Anyone 'member the ol' Col and Jab LEDs on early Ethernet gear? How about the LED graphs showing network load on old hubs? I miss those, they looked really neat.
Are you suggesting that taking the initiative to looki up information freely available to everyone - while also demonstrating autonomy and industriousness - is the same as being given the information by someone who has looked up that information themselves?
t. Zero Cool
I'm more of a Videodrome kind of guy myself- But I do wish RISC architecture had changed everything.

nice
I remember those things. Waking up to someone just cussing you out at 730 am just because. Or walking around Walmart and your pocket just yell "WHERE THE FUCK YOU AT MAN"
