I'm not a fan of the curved Samsung screens, although I know some people like them. They make it harder to have a good case on there that doesn't interfere with the screen imo.

also I hate Samsung's customizations on top of Android.

I pretty much only will buy a stock Android phone at this point, which is pretty limiting since almost no one is doing that anymore except Google itself.
