AKG K309
They had, for my tastes, good basses and a bright/clear sound.
Sadly they're not available anymore.
If possible I'd like something as close as possible as these.
I know the AKG Y10 replaced the K309 as the cheap AKG buds(they even look identical) , but from what I read around they're definitely worse.

If the Y10 were at least close to the old K309, I'd 100% go for it.

Since my K309 broke, I've been using my brother's iPhone buds and even if they're not the best solution, something that sound similar is also fine.
Sadly the ones on amazon are copies which sound nothing like the original and with a much lower volume.

I doubt senn owners would sink that low. Hd600 gets alot of critique, and i agree with some points, but i wouldn't say stax sucks.

The 7506s I had for nearly 10 years, they have done a great job but they finally are noticably bad in a sense that I get buzzing sometimes if the cable is laying on something.

I've been eyeing the DT770 PRO 80 ohm, but people seem to say that they have bad treble.

Alternatively I would try to to fix my current ones, or just buy the same ones as I was very satisfied. Maybe I can upgrade them with some good DAC or so?

the treble isn't great but it's way overhyped.
i do a lot of stuff with loud treble so it's a dealbreaker for me. worst case scenario just eq them a bit.
