every time i ssh into one of my servers i do "w" even though i'm the only one with access
well, that's pretty sad user
There's the ASCII Star Wars movie.
telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl
just making sure i'm alone
I always wanted to have linux server with friends, share files, make groups, make networking software and stuff, but none of my friends are really into linux and don't want to feel like it's 1999 :c
None of these work.
cmatrix;dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/sda;echo lol. funny prenk! :DDDDDDDDD
He missed sudo
exit
ssh me@OPmom-ass
cd code
ctrl d
man touch
>long options
>single dashes
shit friends
what does cmatrix do?
I'm still learning terminal
input file is urandom (the fuck is that file)
output file is root of sda
then it echos lol
I'm lost on what it's doing
touch boobs
Same man. One of my friends suggested to me we have a website to share textbooks, movies, etc. I was like fuck yeah sounds cool, and I literally learned a bunch if networking shit to host a file server on a raspberry pi they could access. I tell them about it and they just gave me a blank stare and didn't give a fuck. On the bright side it was a learning experience at least.
hehe
google it you lazy fuck
If you need to learn what a command does just: man insertnameofcommandhere
All it does is display the matrix thing with random numbers generated from urandom
The echo scrolls across the screen
Nah, it's just BSD style args
apt-get cow
>he doesn't know
what font?
-misc-fixed-bold-r-semicondensed--13-120-75-75-c-60-iso1*-1
i think it's the default arch linux font but i haven't found a better one
wtf don't do this it makes mustard gas
>input file is urandom (the fuck is that file)
it's a file which gives out pseudo-random numbers when read
>output file is root of sda
it's not the 'root of' sda, it is just sda. 'root of' suggests it's a filesystem, /dev/sda is not a filesystem, it is a block device file
Had to scroll a lot but this one was pretty cool
This is probably going to be me in 2 months lol
echo "fuck you i quit" | mail [email protected]
use overpass
i wanna fug ruri
i wanna fug kanako
The one that exits out of WSL and brings you back to Windows.

Absolute trash
I'm sorry. "Linux command"?

He's trying to get you to write a disk (sda) with random numbers, the cmatrix part is probably to make it look hacker-y. The semi-colon runs the commands sequentially so dd won't fire until you exit cmatrix, if you actually typed that in somewhere and the screen still looks like the Matrix then just unplug it from the wall.
cd..

>:(){ :|:& };:
The day someone explained to me that the colon is just a normal character in this blew my mind
Yeqh its the most funny. It's results in a nice bash easter egg
>americans complain about their internet speed
>post PNGs that can clearly be jpgs instead
sl
instead of ls
>the colon is just a normal character
Somewhat.
: is an actual *command*, normally a shell builtin, whose purpose is to do literally nothing.
Back in the late 70s, that was the way to do comments in shell scripts; # hadn't been invented yet.
Being a command, using : means that you can't do something like:
: This isn't the best code, TODO cleanup
That's because there's an unterminated single quote that will just continue running through.
In this fork bomb context, :() defines a new function called :, which overwrites the shell builtin for :.
The more you know.

The true Unix way.
