OP suffers from schizophrenia (as evidenced by his delusions, thought echo, thought broadcasting, hallucinations and various thought disorders). While OP shows close to normal cognitive function, this tends to evolve with the schizophrenia and will turn him into a Spanish potato, with a co-morbid case of the idiopathic acute big gay that will only turn him into a raging cum dump as the next couple of weeks progress.
I say that we wait out the cum dump phase and make the most of it (while securing him in a basement of some sort, of course) and then we euthanize him by way of putting him in a bodybag with cannonballs and sinking him to the bottom of the Danube

Actually worried about my mental health lately due to new paranoid hallucinations like hearing steps in the house when trying to sleep. Can't sleep well because of insomnia and the hallucinations. I think I'll ask a doctor for prescription of sleeping pills hoping that the paranoid hallucinations are caused by the sleep withdrawal.

Really though, all joking aside try sleeping somewhere else for a couple nights. There way be some environmental factors messing with your biology.
Low dose carbon monoxide poisoning comes to mind, but it sounds like it could be something else...
Before doctor, try a different space to sleep in like a motel. See if that changes anything.

I ignored my mental health problems for years and suffered a lot of shit times because of it. However, even if it is schizophrenia (in your current state it would never get diagnosed as such, as I mentioned before, I have APPD which is a non-schizo psychotic disorder, sometimes changed to schizophrenia if shit goes downhill). I could give you a list of my symptoms if you want, a few audio hallucinations won't cut it for pretty much any diagnosis, especially if you've been sleep deprived. A few audio hallucinations are surprisingly normal, in fact, especially if you have insomnia. If you get medicated and stay medicated, best of luck
P.S I'm not downplaying how much hallucinations can suck because I know they do, but the mind plays tricks even when it is healthy, so I wouldn't jump to the conclusion of any serious, long-term problem

Even if it is schizophrenia, if you take your damn meds you can live a decent life. It is a horrible label to have but with the right support network you'll be okay.
