FL Studio runs great in wine for me
LMMS iirc works like a meh version of FL Studio that doesn't have as many built-in features but a lot of free plugins are available for vsts

I wouldn't recommend WINE for professional use. It's more for home users. In a professional environment you use a system that's best for that specific tool you're using for your work. Even if it's DOS. Professional computers aren't tailored to be as multipurpose as home computers. WINE works but it's still an extra layer which a professional shouldn't be depending on. Playing games is not professional, though.
