They are saying all torrents must be seeded for 48h including freeleech. But you can also seed until that specific torrent has a ratio of 1 and you're free to stop after.

You have one (1) week (or 168 hours) to seed for 48 hours or you will receive a HnR. Exception being you seed back to a 1:1 ratio at anytime before then. As soon as you have seeded for 48 consecutive (or total) hours, or reach 1.0 ratio on the torrent, you can remove it/stop seeding/delete file

Freeleech is not counted towards your ratio. You're just subject to the hit and run rules. If you already tanked your ratio and your freeleech torrents don't do anything you're still fucked. That's the biggest mistake you can make when you first get into a tracker. Never just mindlessly download shit. Trying to gain upload via freeleech, cross seeding, and leveraging any kind of bonus point system to your favor is the best approach when you're just starting.

I know that it's just with these new seedbox rules with these chinese trackers. Freeleech doesn't take effect if you're downloading to a seedbox. So basically I have no choice that my download is going to go up so I can increase my upload. I've only downloaded 4 torrents so far and they are freeleech and my download has gone up and my ratio is like 0.02. Was just asking for clarification that I won't get banned for having too high download or maybe I'm missing something.

Generally a gigabit FTTH connection would be $100 or below. A rented server from one of those hosting companies is similar, anywhere from 10 to 50 euros per month for a typical setup. All depends on your needs. Using a VPS is pretty shit because of the lack of storage. I use one of mine on RED sometimes though. Leasing an actual dedicated line like a hosting company would use is probably going to be way outside any kind of budget you have. If you're rich you can probably call up your local telco and negotiate.

Part of the contract from their supplier, they aren't allowed to have the disc available for at least 24-48 hours. Nobody would buy the disc if it was available on trackers, but someone else would get the release if they wait until the 48 hours are up, so they release but limit speed.
