I've unlocked the bootloader Activated usb debugging Installed ADB drivers But I get Failed Anti-rollback error in command prompt when entering flash command
Assuming it fails on flashing recovery, instead of flying directly boot into it instead. >fastboot boot recovery.img From inside TWRP flash the recovery either by moving the recovery file onto the phone through ADB or sideload it.
Gabriel Moore
I'm a beginner with all these new words. Sideload it?
I also have installed on my pc the MiFlash Tool, is this useful, can I flash twrp with it?
Xavier Sullivan
Install adb/fastboot commands if you haven't yet forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979 One you got that installed, shutdown your phone and start it in fastboot mode by holding down the volume down button and power button. If you do that successfully you should see the Xiaomi mascot dissecting the android logo and big blue letters saying 'fastboot'. Now connect the phone to your PC and open a command prompt and type in 'fastboot devices'. Your device should show up, if it doesn't you haven't properly given it adb debug rights. From there you can try flashing twrp or boot into it. >fastboot flash recovery recovery-image.img

This is what I get when typing fastboot devices 2f6c09c fastboot

And after I try flashing recovery image I get this: target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes sending 'recovery' (36752 KB)... OKAY [ 0.815s] writing 'recovery'... FAILED (remote: Anti-rollback check failed) finished. total time: 0.817s
Nathan Moore
Okey, and what if you try to boot into twrp instead? (see )
Jace Brooks
Completely forgot that I can boot into recovery mode by phone
Yeah that shit's useless. From a simple google I figured out that if you want to flash TWRP onto this phone you first need to boot into twrp via fastboot, then flash twrp onto the phone from within twrp. Imma close this thread now because I feel like I'm wasting my time, good luck.

>But I get Failed Anti-rollback error in command prompt when entering flash command Flash the anti-anti-rollback in fastboot, and then TWRP.
Then your ROM and optionally Magisk for root.
Noah Young
Yes, just flash anti-anti rollback first.
Not sure how it took you 2 days withotu finding this out: Your search engine or the miui forums would also point you to that if you had looked the error message or keywords from it up.
Easton Sullivan
>anti-anti-rollback Confused. Where do I get that?
Jack Murphy
Either of these should work. Well, at least I think so. I got it from the MIUI forums but I don't remember the exact post.
