Ok so basically, I am rly cute and everybody in the whole world agrees. now onto my question. My Inspiron5577's sound got muddled and staticy and I can't fix it. I reinstalled my driver but now it just doesn't even show up in the driver list. I uninstalled SmartByte like some ppl said to do and that didnt work. I turned off Wavves which also did not work either. It is really important for me to have sound because I am blind. Can someone pls help me!!! Im serious too

Is it doing it from the headphone jack too?
If so your onboard sound is probably fucked.

If it's out of warranty a USB DAC might be a solution.

so exactly what it did is this. It got really staticy and stopped working altogether sometimes, then i uninstalled Smartbyte and that fixed it for little while. But now it is doing that same thing again!!
