Microshaft Wangblows isn't much better but at least it's usable especially with WSL.

I got everything working except for sleep and brightness (the brightness slider shows up but doesn't do shit and the DSDT patch makes it so the brightness automatically goes to 0% after booting and I can't see shit, can't even use the keyboard function keys for that ffs)
if I could this thing would get 3 hours of battery life no prob.
At least this thing runs so cold and comfy (actually better temps and performance than windows lol)

Although most thinkpad users are cattle (they're basically the same side of a coin where heads = thinkpad users and tails = mac owners) there are some pretty dope thinkpads (like the T440P which you can swap out the cpu and the display easily).
Pretty easy actually. I use a gigabyte motherboard too on my hackintosh desktop (gigabyte boards are really hackintosh-friendly)

Check this. Basically what you need to know is: if your GPU is compatible, your CPU and Motherboard. Rule of thumb: celeron, atom cpus aren't really compatible because of mostly, it's integrated graphics so be sure you have at least a core i3. Nvidia gpus are natively compatible up to 700 series (I think) pascal series gpus are compatible w/ the use of webdrivers (non-native, "supported" by nvidia, some suck, some don't). Your motherboard working mostly depends on the chipset audio/ethernet/usb controllers.
If you really want to do this, download vmware and get a key for free (literally the first link you get on a google search, be sure not to update vmware). Then get a premade osx vmware image from youtube (it's not ideal but idgaf).

I used it after Jayztwocents shilled it for a total of 20 minutes, then removed that piece of shit. It cleared all my chrome passwords, deleted all my fucking site cookies so not only did it log me out but I needed to set up my preferences anew and then there were some sites where it didn't even fucking recognize the username and password form fields.
