>Literally what is the point of this thread?
discussing librefox of course

/thread

Why? It's like ungoogled chromium but in firefox aka a good thing for your freedoms.

doesnt waterfox already exist

They got mad freetards don't wanna use firefox anymore

Literally what is the point of this reply? How completely worthless.

>libre
It's autism

Actually, Icecat would be the correct analog of this. I'm not sure why they didn't just help icecat devs though.

Hello you seem to be unaware of GNU icecat please go fuck yourself

both waterfox and icecat are forks while librefox is a set of patches to firefox
literally 10s in google

It's a decent repository for what tweaks you can be making I suppose, but is sure is a grand fucking name for how little it does.

Help how? If Icecat wanted to ship a comprehensive user.js, they would. If they wanted to include uBlock, they would. Icecat is mostly just concerned with shipping a free browser.

>not libre
Stupidity

The end goal is the same as Icecat though: to deliver an out of the box firefox with no botnet and that respects your freedoms. Whether it's a formal fork or just a bunch of patchs makes little difference.

Icecat does ship with a privacy-enhancing addons. I would argue they don't choose the best ones (ex. using their own fork of adblock plus instead of just ublock) though. Still, it seems like a lot of effort for something that already exists.

Icecat is on LTS though (ver 60 currently). The point of Librefox would be de-botnet of the latest version.

>ver 60
Oh you're right. Icecat follows ESR. That makes sense.

>resets the page zoom every time you reload
>can't use the fucking mouse wheel click to scroll through pages
>4ChanX's no-JS captcha doesn't even work
It certainly appeals to the privacy paranoids alright.

op, are you leet dev or just plain stupid?

it is an opportunity to get a betterfox.

I like it.

useless issues, great think that you won't use it.

"libre" is the freetard counterpart to "gaming"

>useless issues
More like useless... no-browser? Browser with preset profile files? Whatever.

>great think
It certainly makes me think, you got that right.

because in linux world voluntary devs waste time forking each others infinitely, instead of working together to acomplish more
