I don't think there's a direct wayland equivalent for dwm,
i3 -> swaywm
xmonad -> waymonad
bspwm -> bspwc
awesomewm -> WayCooler (sort of, this one is in Rust)
but regardless, I'd stick with Sway, since it's the farthest along AFAIK
