What is the best browser for android?
What is the best browser for android?
The only one that allows you to block ads, firefox.
Which one?
Firefox Focus doesn't support addons I think. The other release channels are just up to personal preference. I use the stable release.
Fennec
Thanks,will try the stable relese
yuzu browser.
because it can be tweaked as you like
IceCat Mobile
Get uBlock Origin and there you have it.
Fennec
For smooth scrolling Samsung or Via
Everything else is a bit of a stuttery mess
Brave mobile is honestly very good.Hace been using it for a few years now. Their desktop version is pretty bad though , sadly
Pozilla has decided that pandering to fags, trannies, and niggers are more important than making good software. Firefox is dying and will soon be irrelevant, switch to Brave.
Firefox (aka Fennec outside Play Store), GNU IceCat if you don't want to deal with Mozilla shenanigans
Otherwise Kiwi Browser
Brave if you want BAT and getting a bit paid for selling your privacy
In for Fennec, Firefox addons like Ublock Origin but less Mozilla shit. Does have some tracking I heard but someone please explain how.
Only downside is there's no dark theme like normal Firefox, and all dark themes from the store get a light grey tint instead, maybe I'm missing something
Naked browser
Isn't Naked the fastest?
It also looks like a piece of shit. Might as well just read the HTML manually
I'm using IceCat mobile with uBlock Origin
Extremely comfy, would recommend
Available through F Droid as well
fennec > ice cat
Same reason I avoid it on PC, ice cats got a bunch of privacy addons but on mobile it seems to slow everything down with constant JS pop ups
Wat. It doesn't have to be beautiful it just needs to show pages. WTF. What kind of fa/g/s are frequenting this place now.
Waterfox is quite good
Kiwi
>Their desktop version is pretty bad though , sadly
How so? They intend to include all Ungoogled chromium patches and have full extension support.
>Brave if you want BAT and getting a bit paid for selling your privacy
>everyone on Jow Forums knows it's opt-in and always has been
>still shirpost about it anyway
why.webp
Brave Browser.
NAKEDBROWSER
Firefox focus is just the stock webkit browser but with history turned off
If you don't want to opt-in Brave it's worse all around than Kiwi
IceCat mobile.
i use focus, its godawful garbage. i cant open a new tab without opening another link, and then changing the link in the search bar
>Scam browser
lmao sure
>Yuzu (although it hasn't been update in months, it's only a shell for webview anyway.)
>Naked browser
>Kiwi
Based and red-pilled.
Check out FOSS browser and Lighting, too.
I use it coz Jow Forums tod me to
>2.7mb
> It's fast
but
>doesn't clear data cache etc on exit even if selected
>no dark theme
>doesn't save passwords even if selected
>selected open bookmarks at start, opens last page
>ads blocked are just big white spaces
>adblocker isn't too great you need additional adaway or blokada
>last apk version is 1 year old but on github there are some things updated. I don't know how to update or if it's even possible. Maybe overwrite the old files with the new ones but never bothered
Brave
>The only one that allows you to block ads, firefox.
Brave does too.
Also, Firefox is SJW spyware.
Which one are you taking about?
>How so? They intend to include all Ungoogled chromium patches and have full extension support.
Is there extension support yet? I use Waterfox but I would like to move to Brave once they allow extensions.
Source? I use Brave on my phone for a while now, never encountered anything wrong.
Lightning
Via
Waterfox
People here like it, but I didn't. FOSS is as light-weight but better in every way. Especially the GUI.
Good, but late like the friend-zoned guy who still believes he has any chance
Waterfox versions are outdated
(Pic related)
I was gonna say enjoy your 52.6 but I just saw it actually got updated to 60.3 recently. Good for them.
I just started compiling my own FF ESR for mobile, borrowing some things from the Icecat script. Easier to stay up to date as official icecat releases always seem to lag behind.
It clears your whole cache as well when you exit
>FOSS
>scam
Lightning
brave shills will ignore this
Bromite. It's Chomium ungoogled and with ad/script blocking.
Some additional features listed here.
haven't had an issue with brave so far
Help
Brave.
Firefox+uBlock is considerably slower on Android.
Brave only breaks some pornhub videos iirc
You only have 2 options. Firefox or Webview. Firefox supports addons and has more privacy features. Webview has too many issues surrounding privacy, but if speed is what you need it's the only option. As for which Webview UI is the best, I'd say Lightning, Privacy Browser, Bromite or Brave. Depending on what you want.
>Brave
goyim browser hijacks sites and show its own ads on someone else's site
no wonder it's the preferred browser of entitled, retarded kids
>goyim browser hijacks sites and show its own ads on someone else's site
Never experience that. Source?
>goyim browser hijacks sites and show its own ads on someone else's site
Source: 69092563 ass
Brave or Bromite
I mean, it's not like the entire premise of the browser is exactly this
that said, I never see any of this hijacking in the current state of the browser, but it's clearly stated everywhere in the documentation this is the way forward, just not ready for prime use yet
also the entire tip system is a giant privacy problem, although entirely optional
>Webview has too many issues surrounding privacy
lighting is my preferred browser for porn, how fucked I am?
i'm using a mix of naked browser and firefox focus might change to this, anyone used it yet? opinions?
I've been thinking about using FOSS browser, but that shit is based on a chink browser. That doesn't sound good.
What do you guys use to browse this mongolian basket weaving image board on android?
Firefox because the sync feature is very neato.
Clover.
I had never heard about Fennec until this thread. At least now I can get an automatic update for Firefox since I don't have Google Play.
