Spend half an hour each day working out to strengthen your body against the harm sitting causes.

Ikea Langfjall.
I didn't expect much but it's comfy as fuck and basicly forces you to sit straight.

I've never been able to find an office chair that I actually found comfortable.
I've sat in all of the ones at IKEA, Office Depot, and Staples, and I hated them all.

I settled for the Markus one from IKEA, a few years back, but I'm really trying to find something new.
Apparently IKEA just recently got a new chair that looks like a better version of the Markus, so I'm gonna try to check that out this week.

Does anyone have any recommendations for chairs that I could actually go somewhere and sit in to try out?

Some of those gaymer chairs actually look pretty comfy, but that one looks like the most uncomfortable piece of shit I've ever seen.
The seat looks like a hard slab that's disguised to look soft-ish.

Ikea chairs fall apart in 18months they are actually even more expensive than Herman miller when you consider a HM chair has 12year warrenty and lasts for 40years while a IKEA chair dies in a year and a half

Gamer branded chairs are not to bad but if you plan on keeping chair for a decade they will die before then also. Furnature is shit you buy for a lifetime if you rent or move around or in collage or some thing I understand but if you are settled in a house for the next 25years get a HM

This. very comfy, most of the things can be adjusted and repared, also quite a lot of spare parts can be found online

Do buy used, though, they are dirt cheap most of the time but expensive as fuck when new and fresh out of the box

HM and Steelcase make super comfy looking chairs, but I really want something super comfy that also provides full back support.

You can buy a head piece for the HM online, if I remember correctly. Also, the back "butterfly" piece (or a new "fishtail" one, I guess?) can be adjusted depending on your height
