Real gamers play in low res, for maximum response times.

Mechanical keyboards

4k is actually good though, I brought a 4k IPS monitor and everything looks really good.
Only problem is stuff

>it's actually good
>makes 90% of content look like ass
>but totally not a meme
>I swear

Use meme shaders

It might be for games right now, but for movies it's definitely not no.
Old movies shot in 35mm film with a good 4k transfer and some HDR touch ups look stunning.
New movies not so much because CGI limits it all to 2K but the high quality audio tracks and HDR are quite significant still.

4k under 27inch is retarded.
4k at 27inch is a meme.
4k at 30+ inches as a monitor is autism.
Monitors have peaked at 1440p

These are somehow now a "hobby". Humans are becoming pretty depressing

120Hz

who needs navigation keys, function keys, and numbers?

Why iz you trollin?

>"""4k"""
>Neither the vertical or horizontal resolutions reach 4 thousand pixels

>stuff

real-time raytracing

4k is a meme because 8k is already here.

Nah dude. Highest res, lowest settings, lowest render distance, maximum player rendering distance if that's a thing, basic shadows. This lets you see the most things the most clearly so you can see the shitter trying to backstab you while pelting the other shitter from 4000 meters away.

>most 4K screens have bilinear upscaling that makes anything but native 4K content look like shit

>4k
>only twice as many pixels as 1080p

WRONG I drop settings and play in high res
Fancy shadows ao and shit screenspace effects look like poo no matter what resolution anyway

640x480 was the best gaming resolution.
