Drivers for Windows 7

Are you stupid or failing to be funny? You can clearly see this is about Windows 10.

sudo apt-get install synaptic gparted chkservice smplayer gimp

After I get a new laptop, I never have to reinstall.
Debloat, update, debotnet, harding. Software gets mixed in and after depending on what it is.

you asked what to install on a clean OS istallation, windows 10 is aids ridden system from the start and have no clean installation so the thread can't be about W10

Setup fstab, clock, locale, hostname and stuff like that.

I always go straight for Norton antivirus together with Advanced System Care and CCleaner. This is to make sure it's clean.

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sd1
install gentoo

Linux subsystem so I can still post on neofetch threads.

Where did I say OS? I used a picture of Windows 10. This is an image board. The image and words go together.

If it's a work computer, Ninite for the typical shit
Sync dropbox/google drive, setup calendars

Install Gentoo.

Chrome with uBlock Origin, Office 365 and Spotify

My first things to do after setting up windows is to remove all the registry permissions on reg keys such as the x box installers and one core services. All the stuff MS wont allow to0 be uninstalled conventionally I spend 2 hours removing the lot. then I install my games and then I reboot the computer and boot linux up. Only returning to windows to play games

rufus to burn a linux ISO

install gentoo

Unrelated question, is an antivirus really needed if I create a separate administrator account with a password and uac set to maximum, and use a local account? I'm planning to use a debloated windows 10 iso from which I removed windows defender.

Do wintoddlers seriously not have dd? It's such a basic tool.

I think Windows Defender is light enough to keep if you don't want to install anything else

Boot Fedora from stick and install it -> dnf update -> Gnome extensions (mostly copied from other machine) -> rpm fusion + codecs -> install tons of libraries and software packages I need for programming.

>I spend 2 hours removing the lot.

Just make a .reg file you fucking tool

chocolatey
and then install everything like its linux

Dear Rakesh,
How do to the installings of the Windows 10. Pleased to be outlinging this procedure for the needfulness please.
Kind Salutions,
Pajeet. MVP,

It's actually slower than most antivirus programs, see av-comparatives.org/tests/performance-test-october-2018/

Comparing antivirus by speed is what I would expect on Jow Forums.

UNetbootin or LinuxLive to install Debian or Arch.

Sir I will be happy to help you with this problem but first I need some information from you what is the name on the Microsoft account that is the account you use to log in to windows?

Nigger they mentioned lightness
That shows it isn't and also performs worse than lighter software

O&O shutup for win10

Anti Virus software is completely unnecessary unless you give the windows PC to your 70 year old father.
It is literally impossible to get infected nowadays unless you run Porn.exe with administrative privileges

That wasn't me mentioning anything, antivirus speed tests is still funny.

does Jow Forums trust this software? looks like placebo to me

I have a checklist of all the stuff I do since I semi-regularly reinstall my personal ones or get assigned new desktops at work
>Ensure the locales and keyboard layouts/IMEs I want to use are configured
>Disable tracking, telemetry and diagnostics
>Uninstall all bloatware
>Personalize desktop
>Grab Chromium from chromium.woolyss.com and ungoogle it to the greatest extent possible because FireFox is fucking ass for doing webshit
>Install miscellaneous software like ImageGlass, Icaros, 7-Zip, mpv, Cmder + git, Visual Studio + Code

neck yourself

Why not chrome¿?

chromium is chrome without the google branding

After getting drivers my insall order is
Chrome
Mumble
Steam
Discord
MPC-HC
Deluge
Winrar
Spotify
foobar2000
Dropbox
ESEA client
notepad++

install papyrus icon theme and kde 4

Install Linux Mint, update it, install: audacious, mpv, KolourPaint, KDE Connect, wine 64 and 32bit, PlayOnLinux, wire messenger, and if it's muh main PC I install (((steam))).

Update it with WSUS, Ninite but a bunch of basic programs. Not to familiar with Win10, I installed it recently coming from 7 so still learning, LTSC is buggy as hell for what I can tell.
