Also have a 6600k. I idiotically bought a non-OC board. Still happy with this, though

oh waw

what if you use a pcie extension (if needed) and bring those 6 and 8 pin to the back like the 24pin?

MSI LMFAO

Dude try to make your build even cheaper

Very nice

LOL
Dont go for laughs next time, be serious, man

Exellent seriously nice

Not bad at all

A bit rough around the edges

Why cant case and fan manufacturers build something that eliminates dust while also having excellent air flow? I am fairly certain if I put my mind to it I could design such a system but, do I have the time, money, and can I be bothered to? No

Last two are the same one, although the photo with LEDs off is an old photo. I moved some of the GPU power combs so it's not crowded and removed the front panel audio connector because it sticks out.

Behind the PCIe power cables, front panel shit is hidden. I could do what you say, it all reaches, but then you see those unsightly cables.

It really is a nice case. I've got a FT02 as well but somehow i absolutely hated it.

tf is that hideous font

There is literally nothing wrong with the FT02.

>Last two are the same one,
Oh yeah I see that now
yeah it's not a bad looking machine but you gotta do something about them cable ties man, it hurts my eyes just looking at em

The blue ones? Yeah, I should switch to black. This LED ring won't mount because the clips are in the way. Wish I had an alternative.

It's the best z170m mobo prove me wrong

This is my first build.

>the best z170m mobo prove me wrong
Maximus VIII Gene.

Spent 10 hours today taking my computer apart, cleaning all the dust out, taking power supply apart and cleaning that out. took all the fans apart and cleaned them out, regreased all the spindles. 10 hours of vacuuming it, dusting, polishing. Well worth it though. I'd forgotten how silent this thing was when I first bought it about 7 years ago. For some reason it seems quicker too. No photos of it my phones broke but its only a shitty P8P67 Pro with an i72600k and a hafx case

ITX is a meme, but it's a comfy meme.

>people talk about three years old CPUs "holding on"
>meanwhile you have a 2500K

yeah I know and I can still play excellent games on it. I cant see a reason to upgrade yet DESU

word filters on posts lol

Fingers crossed for Zen 2.

no it's just a reservoir.

Do not have an IO Shield for MOBO
PSU Cables are slightly pushing down the GPU.
Not taking another picture but i have a fan under the GPU now pulling air in.
Waiting for a package with another 92mm fan for the back.

I’m not sure whether the try to make my build cheaper thing is condescending, or genuine advice.

I actually also built the “LOL” system. I bought all of the components for cheap and threw in an SSD. Meant for it to be for my dad, but he declined the gift and I sold it with a small profit to an epic fortnite gamer. His computer was worse, believe it or not

The only problem I see is noctuashit and silvershit.

t.bequiet shill

your gpu is sagging

And? A little sag is fine

What the fuck is that cable management

She keeps fading into history with all this Ryzen stuff but I don't have the money to build a 2700x equivalent

I think mine is okay for a case with negative as fuck pressure that runs 24/7.

Attached: IMG_0068.jpg (4032x3024, 2.53M)

you better fix that shit. i would have never allowed my cables to push on the card like that.

excellent but i prefer ruri. how did you print and apply the images? i'll make a ruri pc case

What gpu?

Looks like it's from twitter.

twitter.com/Kirinodere/status/1072935326405021697

Claims it cost around $6k total for the whole setup and the images are stickers and were custom measured and designed by the person.

You completely fucked up installing that heatsink and fan. They're supposed to be vertical.

It is vertical on intel, but the Hyper T4 only mounts like that on AMD, it looks silly but my temps are amazing and it mounts on like a stock cooler with the AMD lever mechanism.

I actually originally ordered a 212 Evo to mount vertically, but I was too stupid to install it so I returned it, put my original backplate on, and got a T4.

Attached: IMG_0213.jpg (4032x3024, 1.58M)

installing 212 evo is cancerous to be honest, I have one on my 4690 but I got cancer from just installing it

It really is, I only had trouble getting the backplate and nuts to line up, but then you have to push down on those super high tension screws and hope you don't stab the pcb.

Attached: IMG_0050.jpg (3024x4032, 1.79M)

I'll come up with how to do it myself. disappointing if its just a rip from the internet.

I had problems because there's a little shit on the cooler and the 4 legs trashwhateverisitcalled always closed when I tried to put it on and that little piece of shit was in the way and had a hard time putting it up, I don't even know if it's on correctly. I should clean my PC and apply new thermal paste but every time I think about getting that cooler off and installing it again I decide not to.

Attached: disgustingshit.png (377x219, 107K)

>disappointing if its just a rip from the internet
Yeah, it's a bit too well done for Jow Forums.

I have similar anime meme on my case, but done much more cheaply.

Just laser etched acrylic window with pic related.

Attached: Genetically engineered catgirls.png (3000x3000, 883K)

>Samsung
Almost 10/10

If you ever get the AM4 socket, I can't recommend anything but a T4, that shit is so easy to install and remove for cleaning, all air coolers should be like this, and a T4 can dissipate a lot of heat.

Jow Forums is just full of cunts that'll slam anyone that doesn't pay assloads for their rig.

me too, 6600k, holding up. what do you have it overclocked to? Mine is at 4.4GHz

I built a near exact clone at work also but its a 7600k OC'd to 4.8 and better cable management than what you see here

Attached: newpc.jpg (1631x1046, 492K)

will see what will be available when I do, I'm simply going to sell my 4690 and replace it with a used 4790, it should be okay for a while paired with my 970, my priorities are mostly moving out and stuff like that.

Nice user, upgrading to a 4c/8t chip is actually a good move, the ipc of haswell is great.

One of the gpu fans is stalled, it doesn't seem to matter though, but I should probably clean the cpu heatsink at some point.

Attached: guts.jpg (2679x1732, 315K)

samsung makes better ssds than cucktel

the SSD in the back appears to be intel, so it has both intel and Samsung SSDs.

this is the clone I built at work

Attached: workpc.jpg (1443x1082, 628K)

Who said anything about Intel?

Am I the only weirdo who likes ketchup and mustard cables?

More of a chipotle guy, myself

CPU COOLER NAME!? It has to be the most aesthetically beautiful piece of machinery I have ever seen in my 24 years on this earth.

Attached: 1546373360679.jpg (480x678, 36K)

Scythe Mugen 2 Rev B. Was about $35. Scythe is fucking rad performance for the dollar

Your CPU cooler is on backwards.

I saw Timmyjoe use a scythe and that shit was performing like an NH-D15.

>Open case
Kek all the fans blowing properly couldn't help the poor thing.

Are there any performance benefits of having a tiny cooler like this one over a big one?

what cpu cooler is that?

Tiny coolers like that run super quiet and don't interfere with large DIMMs, but they're not meant for overclocking because thy often perform like stock coolers, but quiet.

Attached: 2017-08-26-487.jpg (2248x4000, 1.85M)

Scythe ninja 5. Been waiting for Amazon to restock one. 3 degrees hotter than the nd15 but quieter.

Easier to pick up the PC. Cheaper. Easier access to everything around the socket.

The size of the metal doesn't determine how loud the cooler is. I run at about 600rpm because the fan cools more metal than a smaller cooler, so it does not need to run as fast.

If you're using anything else you're just retarded then

ancient pic because I'm too lazy to charge my camera, GPU is now 1x 1080 Ti
ft02 is god

Attached: guts_ft02_c.jpg (4825x3599, 1.36M)

Mid atx cases look so damn small and cramped, but full cases look too big. If i want actual space in my case but will only be using like 1 hdd and 1 sdd, what should i go with?

>Mid atx cases look so damn small and cramped, but full cases look too big
I feel you, check out the corsair Air 540, yes it's an ATX cube but there's tons of room to work in there, also the Antec three hundred two is another case that it pretty big inside for being an ATX mid tower and it is like 69 dollars.

What are your temps like on the 9900k?

>DARK mobo
Sick, based EVGA saying fuck rgb.

95-100C running prime95. Ran it for 15 min and got too scared to continue. I got a really bad 9900K since it came from a Lenovo prebuilt. My b-die ram runs pretty great though at 3600 cl15.

It's actually a Z370 Micro.I kinda ruined it by adding rgb fans and ram. I can easily turn it off with a remote though.

What the fuck? I'm still on Sandy Bridge, are CPUs supposed to run that hot now?

>Micro mobo with a 5GHz Intel CPU

user why are your fans shit colored?

hey

never heard of a ziptie?

a what?

You wouldn't need a floor fan to cool it if you just cleaned it up to improve airflow.

It's the best matx z370 board for overclocking. Only loses to the flagship mobos of each brand.

overclock.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=99753

linus did a video and said cable management didn't matter.

got 2 980tis and a 1700x going pretty good

>prolimatech

Based. Got that same cooler sitting in a drawer right now. Wish I had am4 brackets for it, but sadly they are not a thing. Oh well.

It was my first cpu cooler, so itll always have a special place for me in my heart.
